Tour de Langkawi : Première chez les pros pour Simone Bevilacqua
La septième étape du Tour de Langkawi, disputée sur à peine 107 kilomètres autour de Pantai Cenang, a permis à un jeune coureur d’ouvrir son compteur chez les professionnels. L’Italien Simone Bevilacqua, 22 ans, pensionnaire de l’équipe Neri Sottoli-Selle Italia-KTM, a en effet décroché la première victoire de sa courte carrière (débutée en 2018) en réglant le sprint final devant le Grec Charalampos Kastrantas (Brunei Continental Cycling Team) et l’Australien Craig Wiggins (St George Continental Cycling Team). Arrivé tranquillement au sein du peloton, Benjamin Dyball (Sapura Cycling) conserve son maillot jaune avant l’ultime étape, ce samedi.
