Alexandre Geniez (Ag2r La Mondiale) wins the prologue of the Tour de Provence 2018. The Frenchman has covered the 5,9 kms by the roads of Castellet within 6’49”, outshining Sylvain Chavanel (Direct Energie) and Christophe Laporte (Cofidis) by two seconds. Geniez is the leader of the overall with the same gaps embedded to his rivals on the road.
