Abu Dhabi Tour 2018, Rohan Dennis wins against the clock

Rohan Dennis (BMC Racing) wins the Abu Dhabi Tour 2018 stage 4. The Australian Time trial Champion takes the spoils and succeeds in getting both the stage win and the overall lead. Dennis has covered the scheduled 12,6 kilometers in 14’21”, 14 seconds better than Spanish Time trial Champion Jonathan Castroviejo (Team Sky) and sixteen seconds ahead his teammate Miles Scotson (BMC Racing). It is worth pointing out BMC Racing impressive performance: the American team placed four of its riders into the top-8 of the stage. A lack of luck affects Tom Dumoulin (Team Sunweb), who was forced to change the bike due to a puncture. In the end the World Champion against the clock loses 31 seconds from Dennis. Alejandro Valverde (Movistar), moreover, did a great performance losing out only 27 seconds from the stage winner and in this way the Spaniard still remains in the running for the GC. Rohan Dennis, as said before, takes also the overall lead over Castroviejo and Scotson with the same gaps imposed to his competitors.
