Amstel Gold Race 2018, D. Martin: “Hopefully at the end I wish I could be in the fight for victory”

Daniel Martin (UAE Team Emirates) always interpret a leading role in the classics on the Ardennes and the Amstel Gold race is no exception. The Irishman leads UAE Team Emirates together with former World champion Alberto Rui Costa and Diego Ulissi: both of Martin’s teammates have never shown on Walloon soil the same they have achieved elsewhere with the exception of Liege – Bastogne – Liege with regards to the Portuguese.
