Volta a Catalunya 2018, S. Yates: “It’s a difficult finish and I’ll do the best I can”

Simon Yates carries in on his shoulders the responsibility of being Mitchelton-Scott leader for the rest of 2018 Volta a Catalunya. The Brit is 1’12” behind Alejandro Valverde in the GC and he is placed in fifth ahead of Thibaut Pinot and Marc Soler. Today is the last stage at high altitude and whoever wants to change the established  hierarchies must today take action.
