Paris-Nice Stage 1 LIVE

Join us for live text coverage of Paris-Nice 2018 Stage 1 from Chatou to Meudon. The week-long stage race is the first test for Grand Tour general classification riders and we’re likely to see the big names testing themselves towards the finale, not today however on this predominantly flat stage. It will be one for the puncheurs and sprinters. Frenchman Arnaud Démare will appear on the start line, and with no victories to his name so far in 2018, he could very well make an appearance. The Frenchman showed that he can handle a long day in the saddle when he took the honours at Milan-Sanremo in 2016.
