Tour of the Alps 2018 Final Startlist

Tour of the Alps is the traditional stage race in preparation to Giro d’Italia. The 2018 edition, the forty-second in its history, is no exception. The event, which is passing over the roads of Trentino, Sudtirol and Tirol regions, will take place from the 16 to the 20, April, and it is for real a little taste of what will go on Italian roads in May. Twenty teams will take part to the event, nine of which are World Teams. Chris Froome will participate to the competition: it is interesting to verify the four times Tour de France winner’s shape with only two weeks remaining to the Giro. By the way, Froome will ride at the Tour of the Alps despite the trial against him is still pending. Eight Professional teams, two Continentals and the Italian national team complete the startlist.
