Etoile de Besseges 2018, Gallopin wins the time trial and gets the overall

Tony Gallopin (Ag2r La Mondiale) ends successfully the Etoile de Besseges 2018 by winning both the stage and the overall classification. The french beated the competition and gained the race by scoring the best time (15’21”) on the finish line of Alés after 10,7 km of course. Today’s second place goes to Yoann Paillot (St Michel – Auber93), who had been in the lead for most of the race and finished 20 seconds after Gallopin, whereas Sylvain Chavanel (Direct Energie) placed in third position.
In this way Gallopin conquers the GC with 15 seconds of advantage on Christophe Laporte (Cofidis) and 20 seconds on Yoann Paillot, launching positively the experience in his new team.
