Giro d’Italia 2018, Dennis: “It would be really special to take this jersey into Italy”

Rohan Dennis is the new Giro d’Italia 2018 leader. The Australian rider becomes the fourth active procyclist who has led all three Grand Tours. According to Dennis, this jersey means different from the other overall leads he has achieved. The reason is because this result comes thanks to team work and not from an individual performance. Now that Dennis is the new Maglia Rosa holder BMC Racing’s goals are going to be recalibrate. The twenty-seven years old declares he’s looking forward to keep the leader’s jersey after tomorrow’s stage, that will be a hard one. The wind and the hot climate will deeply affect Giro d’Italia third day of racing. The last stage on Israeli soil, in facts, passes through the desert and finishes along the shores of Red Sea.
