Riccardo Minali takes at the bunch sprint the second win in four days of racing at 2018 Tour de Langkawi. The peloton approached the sprint by chasing Callum Scotson (Bike Exchange – Scott) with only 600 meters to go. Adam de Vos (Rally Cycling) holds on his shoulders for the second day in a row the overall jersey.
Lars Boom misses the Classics
Lars Boom will not take part to the springtime classics. Lotto Nl – Jumbo rouleur underwent to a surgery two months ago because of a cardiac arrythmia and his team, through a press release, revealed the Dutchman still doesn’t feel at his best. “It hurts, but I think it’s the right decision. Participating is useless for me when I’m not able to compete for the victory or a top ten position” said Boom in a video on the Lotto Nl – Jumbo Youtube channel.
