Wout Poels (Team Sky) won the second stage of the Vuelta a Andalucia, yesterday. The Dutchman looked strong atop the Alto de las Allanadas beating Luis Leon Sanchez (Astana) and Tim Wellens (Lotto-Soudal). It was a good day for Team Sky all-round yesterday.  In addition to Wout Poel’s success, Michal Kwiatkowski took the stage win at the Volta ao Algarva in Portugal, putting Geraint Thomas in pole position in the General Classification.

Will this be enough to take the spotlight off Chris Froome though?
