Minali wins Tour de Langkawi stage 2
Riccardo Minali runs the Italian winning tradition at the Tour de Langkawi. Astana sprinter won a reduced bunch sprint in Khota Bharu over fellow countrymen Matteo Malucelli (Androni-Sidermec-Bottecchia) and Paolo Simion (Bardiani-CSF). Andrea Guardini struggled on today’s categorized climbs and lost ground towards the leading group, in this way losing the leader’s jersey in favour of Minali. The latter leads the general classification over Korean Joonyong Seo (KSPO) and Malucelli both by 5 seconds.
Oscar Sevilla mugged and robbed in Colombia
Yesterday wasn’t defenitively a good one for Oscar Sevilla. Medellin – Inder rider was training early morning in Bogotà when a car hit him, stopped and five men mugged and robbed the Spaniard. His wife Ivone told Radio Caracol: “This morning Oscar went out to train like every morning, at around 6am, in Bogota. Five young people assaulted him, pushed him, beat him up. A taxi was waiting on the corner and they took his bike“. Sevilla has been robbed of equipment with a value of 10000 $ and, moreover, the robbers fractured his right arm radial bone.
