Bien s\u00fbr, la principal t\u00e2che de l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe belge durant l&rsquo;intersaison aura \u00e9t\u00e9 de contenir l&rsquo;h\u00e9morragie car l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e tardive du nouveau sponsor principal, Deceuninck, aura provoqu\u00e9 la perte de cinq coureurs importants de l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe avec notamment deux grands leaders : Niki Terpstra (Direct Energie) et Fernando Gaviria (UAE Team Emirates). Les trois autres coureurs qui quittent le navire sont Laurens De Plus (Jumbo &#8211; Visma) et Maximilian Schachmann (Bora &#8211; Hansgrohe), ainsi que l&rsquo;espoir \u00e9quatorien\u00a0Jhonatan Narv\u00e1ez (Team Sky).
