Et les supporters autrichiens ont d&rsquo;ailleurs \u00e9t\u00e9 combl\u00e9s d\u00e8s cette \u00e9preuve d&rsquo;ouverture. Chez les Juniors Dames, c&rsquo;est en effet la \u00ab\u00a0locale\u00a0\u00bb Laura Stigger, d\u00e9j\u00e0 double championne du monde et d&rsquo;Europe en VTT Cross Country, qui s&rsquo;est impos\u00e9e au terme d&rsquo;une course mouvement\u00e9e. Sortie dans la principale difficult\u00e9 du parcours \u00e0 une quinzaine de bornes de l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e avec la Canadienne Simone Boilard et l&rsquo;Italienne Barbara Malcotti, Laura Stigger a finalement devanc\u00e9 la Fran\u00e7ais Marie Le Net, revenue sur le trio au bas de la descente, dans un sprint \u00e0 quatre. Boilard a r\u00e9colt\u00e9 le bronze.
