Ce dimanche, les coureurs affronteront 4500 m\u00e8tres de d\u00e9nivel\u00e9 au fil des seize tours du circuit montr\u00e9alais. Deux difficult\u00e9s y sont situ\u00e9es : d&rsquo;abord la C\u00f4te de Camilien-Houde (1,8km \u00e0 8%), puis la C\u00f4te de Polytechnique (780m \u00e0 6%). La ligne d&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e est aussi plac\u00e9e au sommet d&rsquo;une mont\u00e9e (560m \u00e0 4%). Le circuit est long de 12,2 kilom\u00e8tres, et il faudra s&rsquo;accrocher au fil des tours pour r\u00e9sister aux relances sur chacune des bosses. A ce titre, il est probable que l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e se joue entre un petit groupe de costauds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Au rang des favoris, les quatre derniers vainqueurs de l&rsquo;\u00e9preuve sont au rendez-vous ce dimanche. Aux portes du top 10 \u00e0 Qu\u00e9bec deux jours plus t\u00f4t, Diego Ulissi (UAE) a remport\u00e9 l&rsquo;\u00e9dition 2017 et un doubl\u00e9 n&rsquo;est pas \u00e0 exclure. Greg Van Avermaet (BMC), le vainqueur de l&rsquo;\u00e9preuve en 2016, s&rsquo;est lui class\u00e9 deuxi\u00e8me \u00e0 Qu\u00e9bec et aimerait renouer avec la victoire apr\u00e8s une palanqu\u00e9e de places d&rsquo;honneur. Tim Wellens (Lotto Soudal), gagnant en 2015, sera aussi un candidat s\u00e9rieux au succ\u00e8s. S&rsquo;il a remport\u00e9 le GP de Montr\u00e9al en 2014, Simon Gerrans (BMC) devrait lui se mettre au service de Van Avermaet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vainqueur du GP de Qu\u00e9bec avec beaucoup de ma\u00eetrise ce vendredi, Michael Matthews (Sunweb) tentera de r\u00e9it\u00e9rer sa belle performance, mais le parcours est plus exigeant ici.
