Le Tour de Drenthe est une course d’un jour cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 1960. Elle est ouverte aux professionnels en 1997 et est inscrite au calendrier UCI Europe Tour depuis 2005. Cette \u00e9preuve est une semi-classique pav\u00e9e qui, comme son nom l’indique, a lieu dans la province de Drenthe aux Pays-Bas. Elle offre g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement un bel affrontement entre sp\u00e9cialistes des classiques et sprinteurs. Cette ann\u00e9e ne devrait pas d\u00e9roger \u00e0 la r\u00e8gle avec un parcours fait de monts et de secteurs pav\u00e9s. Au total, les coureurs devront franchir cinq monts et onze secteurs pav\u00e9s sur les 206 kilom\u00e8tres du parcours autour de Hoogeveen. L’an pass\u00e9, Jesper Asselman \u00e9tait arriv\u00e9 quelque peu d\u00e9tach\u00e9, devan\u00e7ant d’un rien le sprint d’un groupe d’une vingtaine de coureurs.<\/p>\n
