Ce sera avant tout l&rsquo;\u00e9tape la plus longue de ce Tirreno-Adriatico avec 228 kilom\u00e8tres, et l&rsquo;une des plus difficiles car son profil sera loin d&rsquo;\u00eatre tout plat. Apr\u00e8s une premi\u00e8re partie enti\u00e8rement plane, les coureurs encha\u00eeneront quatre difficult\u00e9s\u00a0: Le Serrazzano, avant un premier passage par Pomarance, la Volterra, la c\u00f4te de Montecatini Val di Cecina et enfin l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e finale \u00e0 Pomarance. Cette derni\u00e8re difficult\u00e9 ne sera pas trop difficile et certains sprinteurs pourraient m\u00eame passer. Il leur faudra toutefois s&rsquo;accrocher dans le premier mur de quasiment 500 m\u00e8tres comprenant des passages \u00e0 15%. Le reste de l&rsquo;ascension sera constitu\u00e9 d&rsquo;une grande partie en faux-plat montant avant deux derniers kilom\u00e8tres \u00e0 presque 5% de moyenne. Le final s&rsquo;annonce donc ind\u00e9cis et difficile de dire si certains sprinteurs r\u00e9ussiront \u00e0 s&rsquo;accrocher avec tant de kilom\u00e8tres et les divers difficult\u00e9s du parcours.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;an pass\u00e9, l&rsquo;\u00e9tape avait \u00e9t\u00e9 semblable mais l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 Pomarance n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas la m\u00eame. Elle n&rsquo;avait \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9e que d&rsquo;une seule difficult\u00e9 mais l&rsquo;ascension finale \u00e9tait plus dure et une quarantaine de coureurs \u00e9taient arriv\u00e9s pour la gagne.
