Le Tour de l’Algarve, cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 1960 et disput\u00e9 dans la pointe r\u00e9gion la plus m\u00e9ridionale du Portugal, est la course la plus importante du pays. Chaque ann\u00e9e, le plateau de cette \u00e9preuve augmente. Cette ann\u00e9e, on retrouve au d\u00e9part les noms suivants:\u00a0Richie Porte, Tejay Van Garderen, Arnaud D\u00e9mare, Philippe Gilbert, Bob Jungels, Louis Meintjes, Edvald Boasson Hagen, Tony Martin, Simon Spilak, Dylan Groenewegen, Michal Kwiatkowski et Geraint Thomas. De quoi r\u00eaver pour une course Hors Cat\u00e9gorie. Il faut dire que l’\u00e9preuve portugaise pr\u00e9sente un format int\u00e9ressant: cinq jours avec une alternance de montagne, de plat et de contre-la-montre, un terrain id\u00e9al pour se tester en ce mois de f\u00e9vrier.<\/p>\n
Le parcours de cette \u00e9dition 2018 sera tr\u00e8s semblable \u00e0 celui de l’an pass\u00e9 avec pas moins de quatre arriv\u00e9es similaires en cinq jours, sauf le lieu du contre-la-montre change. On retrouvera en effet les deux \u00e9tapes accident\u00e9es avec des arriv\u00e9es en altitude au sommet de l’Alto de F\u00f3ia et au sommet de l’Alto de Malh\u00e3o. Il y aura \u00e9galement le chrono de Lagoa, long de 20 kilom\u00e8tres. Les sprinteurs se r\u00e9serveront pour le premier et le quatri\u00e8me actes \u00e0 Lagos et \u00e0 Tavira.<\/p>\n
