Plus vieille encore que Li\u00e8ge-Bastogne-Li\u00e8ge (1892), Milan-Turin f\u00eate sa 98\u00e8me \u00e9dition pas moins de 141 ans apr\u00e8s sa cr\u00e9ation, en 1876. Il s&rsquo;agit aussi de l&rsquo;une des plus importantes courses de cette fin de saison, et pour certains, d&rsquo;une parfaite mise en jambes avant le point d&rsquo;orgue de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e, \u00e0 savoir le Tour de Lombardie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">C\u00f4t\u00e9 trac\u00e9, aucune surprise. La course partira de la r\u00e9gion milanaise, \u00e0 San Guiliano Milanese, comme ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es et ira, sur un parcours quasiment tout plat, trouver l\u2019ascension vers la Basilique de Superga, traditionnel juge de paix de l&rsquo;\u00e9preuve, sur les hauteurs de Turin. Comme d\u2019habitude les coureurs escaladeront la mont\u00e9e de Superga une premi\u00e8re fois mais continueront tout droit \u00e0 600 m\u00e8tres de l\u2019arriv\u00e9e, plut\u00f4t que d\u2019aller chercher la ligne, \u00e0 gauche (en cul de sac). Au deuxi\u00e8me passage, ils tourneront \u00e0 gauche cette fois-ci pour aller chercher l\u2019arriv\u00e9e. La mont\u00e9e de Superga, dans sa totalit\u00e9, d\u00e9veloppe 4,9 kilom\u00e8tres \u00e0 9,1% de moyenne avec plusieurs passages au dessus des 10% et une pente maximale atteignant les 14%. Le final cors\u00e9 de cette course ne ment g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement jamais et c&rsquo;est toujours un homme fort qui y triomphe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Miguel Angel Lopez (Astana), le vainqueur sortant ne d\u00e9fendra pas son titre, ayant pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 mettre rapidement un terme \u00e0 sa saison apr\u00e8s deux victoires d\u2019\u00e9tapes sur le Tour d\u2019Espagne. Fabio Aru (Astana) aura donc le dossard num\u00e9ro 1 et il sera l\u2019un des grands pr\u00e9tendants. Mais derri\u00e8re la concurrence sera rude avec entre autres Tom Dumoulin (Sunweb), Thibaut Pinot (FDJ), Rigoberto Uran (Cannondale \u2013 Drapac), Nairo Quintana (Movistar), Warren Barguil (Sunweb), Julian Alaphilippe (Quick Step), Philippe Gilbert, Dan Martin, Bob Jungels (Quick Step Floors), Jakob Fuglsang (Astana), David Gaudu (FDJ), Adam Yates (Orica \u2013 Scott), Steven Kruijswijk
