Une \u00e9preuve belge qui vient s&rsquo;incruster dans\u00a0le week-end du Tour de l&rsquo;Eurom\u00e9tropole, pour rappel r\u00e9duit \u00e0 un jour l&rsquo;an pass\u00e9. Celui-ci se d\u00e9roulera ce dimanche, mais \u00e0 la veille de sa tenue, une course flamande, intimement li\u00e9e, se tiendra entre Nieuwpoort et Poperinge, sur 177 kilom\u00e8tres. L&rsquo;Omloop Eurometropool van de Westhoek est la d\u00e9nomination de ce nouvel \u00e9v\u00e8nement, mis sur pied par le V\u00e9lo Club de Poperinge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La course s&rsquo;est vu octroy\u00e9e le statut 1.1 dans le calendrier, contre un statut Hors Classe pour le Tour de l&rsquo;Eurom\u00e9tropole. Cinq formations du WorldTour seront tout de m\u00eame au d\u00e9part dans un plateau qui comprendra 23 \u00e9quipes. Le parcours m\u00e8nera les coueurs de Nieuwpoort, sur la c\u00f4te, \u00e0 Poperinge, en Flandre-Occidentale, \u00e0 la limite de la fronti\u00e8re franco-belge. Il y a aura ainsi 177 kilom\u00e8tres \u00e0 couvrir, sans r\u00e9elles difficult\u00e9s, si ce n&rsquo;est une l\u00e9g\u00e8re bosse et un secteur pav\u00e9 sur le circuit \u00ab\u00a0final\u00a0\u00bb de 40 kilom\u00e8tres qui sera \u00e0 couvrir trois fois.
