D\u00e9tails\u00a0:<\/b><\/p>\n

La London Surrey Classic est n\u00e9e en 2011 en tant que \u00ab\u00a0test event\u00a0\u00bb pour l\u2019\u00e9preuve sur route des Jeux Olympiques de 2012 de Londres. Non disput\u00e9e cette ann\u00e9e l\u00e0 elle s\u2019inscrit d\u00e9sormais de mani\u00e8re durable dans le calendrier mondial depuis 2013. Elle est d\u2019ailleurs depuis int\u00e9gr\u00e9e \u00e0 un \u00e9v\u00e9nement plus grand, la Prudential RideLondon qui marie diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9preuves, la plupart ouvertes \u00e0 tous. La Surrey Classic est donc la manche\u00a0pour les professionnels, sorte de clou du spectacle. Cette course d\u2019un jour qui part et arrive \u00e0 Londres mais dont la plus grande partie se d\u00e9roule dans le Comt\u00e9 de Surrey n\u2019est pas qu\u2019une course de d\u00e9monstration. Son palmar\u00e8s parle pour elle. En 2017, elle atteint un nouveau stade en int\u00e9grant le World Tour (\u00e9preuve de second rang, participation des \u00e9quipes World Tour non obligatoire).<\/span><\/p>\n

L\u2019an pass\u00e9, les Sky avaient dynamit\u00e9 la course. Geraint Thomas avait fait un num\u00e9ro mais c\u2019\u00e9tait finalement un peloton r\u00e9duit qui \u00e9tait all\u00e9 se disputer la victoire et d\u2019o\u00f9 Tom Boonen \u00e9tait ressorti victorieux. Cette ann\u00e9e le parcours est similaire et la participation en sprinters est plus relev\u00e9e. Il y a fort \u00e0 parier que de nombreuses \u00e9quipes seront l\u00e0 pour contr\u00f4ler la course. Mais attention toutefois au passage de Box Hill qui est propice aux attaques. Cela reste toutefois tr\u00e8s loin de l\u2019arriv\u00e9e, pr\u00e8s de 50 kilom\u00e8tres, et le retour sur Londres ne favorise pas vraiment les audacieux.<\/span><\/p>\n
