Depuis deux jours, les \u00e9carts ne cessent de se resserrer et les pr\u00e9tendants \u00e0 la victoire finale auront un contre-la-montre d\u00e9cisif dimanche \u00e0 Milan. Mais avant cela, ils devront s&rsquo;affronter une derni\u00e8re fois en montage sur une nouvelle \u00e9tape difficile qui proposera deux cols de 1e cat\u00e9gorie. Le Monte Grappa, situ\u00e9 juste apr\u00e8s le ravitaillement, et la mont\u00e9e de Foza, qui m\u00e8nera les coureurs sur l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e, seront les derni\u00e8res opportunit\u00e9s pour les meilleurs grimpeurs de faire des diff\u00e9rences. La fra\u00eecheur sera peut-\u00eatre un facteur encore plus important que les qualit\u00e9s de grimpeur apr\u00e8s trois semaines de comp\u00e9tition pied au plancher o\u00f9 les coureurs n&rsquo;ont eu que trop peu l&rsquo;occasion de souffler. Le Monte Grappa sera tr\u00e8s irr\u00e9gulier et c&rsquo;est dans sa premi\u00e8re partie que les coureurs pourraient faire des diff\u00e9rences avec un passage \u00e0 11% d\u00e8s le premier kilom\u00e8tre et une moyenne de 7,8% sur ses 8 premiers kilom\u00e8tres. Le reste de l&rsquo;ascension sera bien plus roulant et irr\u00e9gulier avec des replats et des petites descentes tout au long des 24 kilom\u00e8tres d&rsquo;ascension. Il y aura ensuite une longue descente et 10 kilom\u00e8tres de plaine avant d&rsquo;attaquer la mont\u00e9e de Foza, longue de 14 kilom\u00e8tres \u00e0 6,7%. Cette ascension sera beaucoup plus r\u00e9guli\u00e8re et les leaders devraient forc\u00e9ment tenter des choses avant le sommet les 15 derniers kilom\u00e8tres menant \u00e0 l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 Asiago.<\/p>\n<p>La ville d&rsquo;Asiago a d\u00e9j\u00e0 accueilli l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e de quatre \u00e9tapes du Giro.
