Des probl\u00e8mes financiers ont progressivement contraint les organisateurs \u00e0 r\u00e9duire la dur\u00e9e de leur \u00e9preuve, et la 37\u00e8me \u00e9dition, ce samedi, conna\u00eetra un statu quo en la mati\u00e8re, malgr\u00e9 la volont\u00e9 affich\u00e9e de relancer la course sur plusieurs jours. Auparavant propice aux grimpeurs, le Tour de Murcie est d\u00e9sormais davantage l&rsquo;apanage des puncheurs. Philippe Gilbert avait ainsi profit\u00e9 du nouveau trac\u00e9 la saison derni\u00e8re pour s&rsquo;imposer, devant le local et quadruple vainqueur Alejandro Valverde, ainsi qu&rsquo;Ilnur Zakarin.<\/p>\n<p>Le parcours en question sera quelque peu modifi\u00e9 cette ann\u00e9e.\u00a0Pr\u00e8s de 183 kilom\u00e8tres seront \u00e0 couvrir entre San Javier, en bord de mer, et Murcie, dans les terres. La totalit\u00e9 des difficult\u00e9s seront concentr\u00e9es en l&rsquo;espace de cinquante kilom\u00e8tres, peu apr\u00e8s la mi-course. Les coureurs auront \u00e0 franchir l&rsquo;Alto de Aledo (3e cat,(9,9 km \u00e0 4,1%) puis l&rsquo;Alto Collado Bermejo (1ere cat, 8,4 km \u00e0 6,7%), \u00e9galement \u00ab\u00a0cima Marco Pantani\u00a0\u00bb et enfin l&rsquo;Alto de Gebas (3e cat, 5,5 km \u00e0 3,9%). L&rsquo;encha\u00eenement des trois ascensions devrait alors op\u00e9rer une s\u00e9lection dans le peloton, mais il restera tout de m\u00eame 40 kilom\u00e8tres \u00e0 parcourir avant de rallier l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e. En raison des conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques, la Cresta del Gallo, qui se situait l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re \u00e0 13 bornes de la ligne, n&rsquo;est plus au programme.
