Le symbole de la supr\u00e9matie est sans aucun doute le classement le plus convoit\u00e9, mais du 23 ao\u00fbt au 14 septembre, il y a \u00e9galement d&rsquo;autres classements primaires qui peuvent jouer un r\u00f4le important dans la d\u00e9termination des strat\u00e9gies de course au jour le jour, donnant \u00e9ventuellement lieu \u00e0 des batailles qui animent parfois la course encore plus que le classement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral. Particuli\u00e8rement important est bien s\u00fbr le <strong>Maillot vert<\/strong>, port\u00e9 par les meilleurs au classement par points, traditionnellement d\u00e9di\u00e9 aux roues rapides, mais aussi et surtout le <strong>Maillot bleu \u00e0 pois<\/strong>, qui distingue le meilleur grimpeur (ou, en tout cas, celui qui recueille le plus de points aux GPM).<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;autre signe distinctif est le <strong>Jersey blanc<\/strong> pour les jeunes coureurs, qui est bas\u00e9 sur le classement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral au temps r\u00e9serv\u00e9 cette ann\u00e9e aux coureurs n\u00e9s \u00e0 partir du 1er janvier 1999. Le <strong>classement des \u00e9quipes<\/strong> est \u00e9galement important pour certaines \u00e9quipes.
