A l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e de la deuxi\u00e8me \u00e9tape du Tour de Guangxi, le Britannique a devanc\u00e9 Pascal Ackermann (Bora-hansgrohe) au sprint, apr\u00e8s 152 kilom\u00e8tres de course entre Beihai et Qinzhou. Visiblement d\u00e9\u00e7u au passage de la ligne, ce dernier pouvait cependant se consoler avec le maillot de leader du g\u00e9n\u00e9ral. Comme la veille, Matteo Trentin (Mitchelton-Scott) a pris la troisi\u00e8me place.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Avant l&#8217;emballage final &#8211; qui semblait in\u00e9vitable en vue du parcours &#8211; une \u00e9chapp\u00e9e de trois coureurs a anim\u00e9 l&rsquo;\u00e9preuve. Sep Vanmarcke (EF Education First), Laurens De Vreese (Astana) et J\u00e9r\u00f4me Cousin (Total Direct Energie) ont alors ouvert la route, mais n&rsquo;ont rien pu faire face au retour annonc\u00e9 du peloton, men\u00e9 par Bora-hansgrohe et UAE-Team Emirates.
