La saison cycliste touche \u00e0 son terme, et ce mardi se tient l’avant-derni\u00e8re course professionnelle du calendrier belge, Binche-Chimay-Binche. Aussi connue sous le nom de M\u00e9morial Frank Vandenbroucke depuis 2010, en hommage au Wallon vainqueur en 1996, l’\u00e9preuve f\u00eate seulement sa 32\u00e8me \u00e9dition en 2019 bien qu’ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 1911.\u00a0Cette semi-classique a souvent souri aux sprinteurs ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, mais ce n’est pas pour autant qu’elle se r\u00e9sume \u00e0 un simple emballage final.<\/p>\n

La course se d\u00e9compose ainsi en deux parties : une premi\u00e8re portion en ligne de 132,6 kilom\u00e8tres puis quatre tours d\u2019un circuit de 16,2 kilom\u00e8tres, et donc cinq passages (en comptant l\u2019entr\u00e9e sur le circuit) par la d\u00e9cisive route de la P\u00e9pini\u00e8re : une courte mont\u00e9e pav\u00e9e (500m \u00e0 4,4%) suivie d\u2019une derni\u00e8re ligne droite disput\u00e9e sur ce m\u00eame rev\u00eatement qui fait g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement la diff\u00e9rence. Ce sera quoiqu\u2019il en un costaud qui l\u00e8vera les bras dans la province du Hainaut ce mardi apr\u00e8s-midi.<\/p>\n

En pr\u00e9paration pour Paris-Tours, de nombreuses t\u00eates d’affiches ont fait le d\u00e9placement, dont les sprinteurs\u00a0Dylan Groenewegen (Jumbo-Visma), Arnaud D\u00e9mare (Groupama-FDJ) et Tim Merlier (Corendon-Circus) mais \u00e9galement le tenant du titre Danny van Poppel (Jumbo-Visma),\u00a0Oliver Naesen (AG2R-La Mondiale) Jasper Stuyven, Edward Theuns (Trek-Segafredo), Yves Lampaert, Florian S\u00e9n\u00e9chal (Deceuninck-Quick Step), Jens Debusschere, Nils Politt (Katusha-Alpecin), Stefan K\u00fcng (Groupama-FDJ), Victor Campenaerts (Lotto-Soudal), Dimitri Claeys (Cofidis), Krists Neilands (Israel Cyclng Academy), Adrien Petit, Niki Terpstra (Total Direct Energie), Timothy Dupont, Andrea Pasqualon (Wanty-Groupe Gobert). La course risque ainsi d’\u00eatre tr\u00e8s anim\u00e9e et de nombreuses formations n’ont aucun int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e0 attendre un \u00ab\u00a0sprint\u00a0\u00bb dans les rues de Binche.<\/p>\n
