Depuis 2003, le Grand Prix de Wallonie est un classique du mois de septembre. Plac\u00e9 entre le Tour d\u2019Espagne et les Championnats du Monde, cette course d\u2019un jour exigeante\u00a0avec son final au sommet de la difficile Citadelle de Namur (depuis 2004) ne r\u00e9compense que les hommes forts. Il y a cinq c\u00f4tes r\u00e9pertori\u00e9es au programme, mais tout se jouera \u00e9videmment dans les cinquante derniers kilom\u00e8tres avec, d’abord, l\u2019encha\u00eenement des c\u00f4tes d\u2019Ermeton, de Lustin et de Tiennes aux Pierres pour dynamiter le peloton, avant l\u2019ascension pav\u00e9e vers le sommet de la Citadelle de Namur. L\u2019an pass\u00e9 Jasper Stuyven (Trek-Segafredo) s\u2019\u00e9tait impos\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Le Belge, non-retenu pour les Mondiaux, va bien d\u00e9fendre sa couronne ce mercredi, mais il aura face \u00e0 lui d’autres anciens vainqueurs tels que Tony Gallopin (AG2R-La Mondiale) ou bien Jan Bakelants (Belgique). Egalement attendus parmi les meilleurs sur la Citadelle de Namur : Jelle Vanendert (Lotto-Soudal), Lilian Calmejane, Jonathan Hivert (Total Direct Energie), Quentin Pacher, Bryan Coquard (Vital Concept-B&B Hotels), Christophe Laporte (Cofidis), Elie Gesbert, Laurent Pichon (Ark\u00e9a-Samsic), Xandro Meurisse, J\u00e9r\u00f4me Baugnies, Loic Vliegen, Odd-Christian Eiking (Wanty-Groupe Gobert), Sean De Bie (Roompot-Charles), Alexander Kamp (Riwal Readynez) ou bien Fabio Felline et Toms Skujins (Trek-Segafredo).<\/p>\n
