De Pravia au sommet de l&rsquo;Alto de la Cubilla, il y aura alors 144 kilom\u00e8tres tr\u00e8s exigeants \u00e0 boucler. Tout commencera par vingt bornes sans difficult\u00e9, avant que la route ne commence \u00e0 s&rsquo;\u00e9lever. Apr\u00e8s un faux-plat montant d&rsquo;une trentaine de kilom\u00e8tres, les coureurs iront chercher le pied du Puerto de San Lorenzo (1\u00e8re cat., 10km \u00e0 8,5%). Une mont\u00e9e irr\u00e9guli\u00e8re avec un replat \u00e0 la mi-ascension et trois kilom\u00e8tres \u00e0 12%. L&rsquo;occasion de tester les jambes avant d&rsquo;aborder un col similaire : l&rsquo;Alto de la Cobertoria (1\u00e8re cat., 8,3km \u00e0 8,2%). Hormis une portion moins difficile au centre, la plupart de l&rsquo;ascension mettra les coureurs en prise avec des pentes \u00e0 10%. Suivra une descente abrupte avant d&rsquo;arriver au sprint interm\u00e9diaire de Campomanes, au km116,5. A partir de l\u00e0, la route montera jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 la ligne d&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e, dessin\u00e9e au sommet de l&rsquo;Alto de La Cubilla (hors cat., 17,8km \u00e0 6,2%). Un terrain id\u00e9al pour tenter de renverser la course ou, \u00e0 d\u00e9faut, de faire douter Primoz Roglic \u00e0 l&rsquo;aube de la journ\u00e9e de repos.<\/p>\n<h6 class=\"post-box-title\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cyclingpro.net\/velopro\/news-niveau-2\/le-classement-des-favoris-valverde-seul-resistant-a-roglic\/\" rel=\"bookmark\">Lire aussi &gt; Le classement des favoris : Valverde seul r\u00e9sistant \u00e0 Roglic<\/a><\/strong><\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pour l&rsquo;instant battus, Nairo Quintana (Movistar) et Miguel Angel Lopez (Astana) trouveront encore un terrain propice \u00e0 attaquer de loin. Reste \u00e0 voir si les jambes r\u00e9pondent sur ce trac\u00e9 explosif. Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma) a jusqu&rsquo;alors montr\u00e9 qu&rsquo;il \u00e9tait souverain, tandis qu&rsquo;Alejandro Valverde (Movistar) et Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) le suivent \u00e0 tour de r\u00f4le. Les cinq premiers du g\u00e9n\u00e9ral devraient encore proposer une belle explication. Derri\u00e8re eux, Wilco Kelderman (Sunweb) sera sans doute \u00e0 son avantage dans la derni\u00e8re ascension du jour. Huiti\u00e8me du g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, le N\u00e9erlandais pointe \u00e0 seulement 7&Prime; de Nicolas Edet et essayera sans aucun doute de d\u00e9passer le leader de la Cofidis. Difficile de dire en revanche si la bataille des favoris se tiendra aussi pour la victoire d&rsquo;\u00e9tape ou si une imposante \u00e9chapp\u00e9e jouera la gagne. Dans ce cas, Dylan Teuns (Bahrain-Merida) a perdu du temps ces derniers jours afin de disposer de plus de libert\u00e9. C&rsquo;est aussi le cas d&rsquo;Esteban Chaves (Mitchelton-Scott), qui trouvera l\u00e0 un terrain id\u00e9al pour signer un coup d&rsquo;\u00e9clat. Des hommes comme Pierre Latour (AG2R-La Mondiale), Wout Poels (Ineos), Jesus Herrada (Cofidis), Louis Meintjes (Dimension Data) ou encore Sergio Henao (UAE Team Emirates) devraient aussi se montrer en \u00e9chapp\u00e9e.
