Pr\u00e9sente dans le calendrier Europe Tour depuis 2005, elle dispose du statut 1.1. Le parcours, long de 198 kilom\u00e8tres, se d\u00e9compose en plusieurs parties. Tout d\u2019abord, les coureurs doivent effectuer trois tours d\u2019un \u201cgrand\u201d circuit de 24 kilom\u00e8tres comprenant trois bosses, dont le Bergstraat. Puis, un circuit plus court de 14 kilom\u00e8tres, mais incluant deux mont\u00e9es, dont le Schavei, est \u00e0 parcourir \u00e0 huit reprises. L\u2019\u00e9preuve sourit g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement aux puncheurs, \u00e0 l\u2019instar de Bjorn Leukemans, co-recordman de victoires sur l\u2019\u00e9preuve, avec quatre succ\u00e8s cons\u00e9cutifs entre 2010 et 2013. Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, Wanty-Groupe Gobert a fait preuve d&rsquo;une v\u00e9ritable h\u00e9g\u00e9monie sur l&rsquo;\u00e9preuve puisqu&rsquo;elle s&rsquo;y est impos\u00e9e quatre fois cons\u00e9cutivement. L&rsquo;an pass\u00e9, Xandro Meurisse avait suppl\u00e9\u00e9 le triple vainqueur J\u00e9r\u00f4me Baugnies.
