Informations<\/strong><\/p>\n

Le Mont Chauve h\u00f4te d’une \u00a0\u00bbClassique\u00a0\u00bb professionnelle. C’est bel et bien le pari fait par les organisateurs du Mont Ventoux D\u00e9nivel\u00e9 Challenge. Un pari sur le point de prendre vie puisque la premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition de cette toute nouvelle course du calendrier se tient ce lundi sur 171 kilom\u00e8tres entre Vaisons-la-Romaine et le sommet du Mont Ventoux. Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de grandes batailles du Tour de France et v\u00e9ritable ascension de l\u00e9gende, le G\u00e9ant de Provence n’a plus \u00e9t\u00e9 emprunt\u00e9 (en entier) depuis la victoire de Chris Froome sur le Tour de France 2013.<\/p>\n

Pour cette grande premi\u00e8re, l’organisation a r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 r\u00e9unir douze \u00e9quipes allant du WorldTour \u00e0 la division continentale. Le grand favori au d\u00e9part n’est autre que Romain Bardet (AG2R-La Mondiale), qui sort tout juste d’une dixi\u00e8me place sur le Crit\u00e9rium du Dauphin\u00e9 et \u00e0 qui une belle victoire sur le Mont Ventoux ferait beaucoup de bien. Accompagn\u00e9 de Tony Gallopin et Alexis Vuillermoz, il devra cependant se m\u00e9fier de Joe Dombrowski (EF Education First), performant sur le Giro, ou encore du Colombien Darwin Atapuma, de Jesus Herrada (Cofidis), en forme, de Rein Taaramae (Total Direct Energie), d’Oscar Rodriguez (Euskadi-Murias), vainqueur sur la derni\u00e8re Vuelta, des jeunes Romain Seigle et L\u00e9o Vincent chez Groupama-FDJ, ou encore d’Elie Gesbert (Ark\u00e9a-Samsic), \u00e0 son aise depuis le d\u00e9but d’ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n
