Autrefois chasse gard\u00e9e des N\u00e9erlandais, du temps o\u00f9 elle \u00e9tait une \u00e9preuve amateur-\u00e9lites (jusqu&rsquo;en 1992), la classique s\u2019est internationalis\u00e9e au d\u00e9but du 21e si\u00e8cle, int\u00e9grant l\u2019UCI Europe Tour en 2005. Sous sa nouvelle appellation depuis 2012, l\u2019\u00e9preuve a plut\u00f4t r\u00e9ussi aux sprinters. Toutefois, des modifications de parcours appliqu\u00e9ese en 2015\u00a0ont bien compliqu\u00e9 la t\u00e2che des hommes rapides, puisque c&rsquo;est Stefan K\u00fcng puis Floris Gerts (BMC) qui se sont successivement impos\u00e9s ces deux derni\u00e8res saisons.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En raison de son parcours durci, la Volta Limburg Classic s&rsquo;apparente d\u00e9sormais \u00e0 une r\u00e9p\u00e9tition en vue de l&rsquo;Amstel Gold Race, deux semaines plus tard, qui se tient dans la m\u00eame r\u00e9gion et qui emprunte quelques bosses similaires. Le trac\u00e9 imagin\u00e9\u00a0depuis 201 a \u00e9t\u00e9 reconduit pour cette saison. Les coureurs devront donc boucler deux tours d&rsquo;un circuit long de 90 kilom\u00e8tres, comprenant une multitude de mont\u00e9es. Dans les cinquante derni\u00e8res bornes, il faudra ainsi franchir les bosses de Roodbosch, De Panck, Kutersteenweg, Mheerelindje, Huisberg, Kalleberg et enfin Moerslag, \u00e0 quatorze kilom\u00e8tres du but, avant d&rsquo;entamer un court circuit urbain de six kilom\u00e8tres au terme duquel sera jug\u00e9e l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Carte et
