Depuis le d\u00e9part de Bologne, ces derniers sont all\u00e9s au bout \u00e0 huit reprises. Avec la fatigue accumul\u00e9e des \u00e9quipes de leaders, l&rsquo;\u00e9chapp\u00e9e pourrait bien conclure une neuvi\u00e8me fois. La mont\u00e9e de Santa Maria della Victoria (5km \u00e0 5%) devrait alors permettre \u00e0 un groupe de se d\u00e9gager \u00e0 partir du km15. La route est ensuite peu accident\u00e9e jusqu&rsquo;au Passo di San Boldo (3e cat., 6,3km \u00e0 6,8%), au km68. Cette ascension propose 17 virages en \u00e9pingle \u00e0 cheveux et pr\u00e9sente plusieurs passages \u00e0 deux chiffres. La descente pass\u00e9e, les coureurs iront chercher les deux sprints du jour, au km86,6 et 109,1, puis la mont\u00e9e de Lamon (4e cat., 3,9km \u00e0 5,6%). Ils encha\u00eeneront directement ensuite avec la mont\u00e9e roulante vers la ligne d&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e de San Martino di Castrozza (13,6km \u00e0 5,6%). Deux passages difficiles sont \u00e0 signaler dans l&rsquo;ascension finale : \u00e0 6km du but, la pente sera un court instant au-dessus des 10%, puis \u00e0 4km de la ligne, il y a un passage de deux km \u00e0 7%.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Si les leaders du Giro devraient se livrer une premi\u00e8re bataille dans la derni\u00e8re mont\u00e9e avant l&rsquo;explication finale de samedi, les favoris du jour se nomment Giulio Ciccone (Trek-Segafredo), Fausto Masnada (Androni-Sidermec), Jan Hirt (Astana), Mikel Nieve (Mitchelton-Scott) ou encore Joe Dombrowski (EF Education First). Ces derniers ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 bien figur\u00e9 dans plusieurs \u00e9chapp\u00e9es et auront \u00e0 c\u0153ur de briller pour la derni\u00e8re \u00e9tape d\u00e9vou\u00e9e aux baroudeurs. Diego Ulissi (UAE-Team Emirates) s&rsquo;est aussi montr\u00e9 \u00e0 plusieurs reprises, mais n&rsquo;a jamais pu faire mieux que troisi\u00e8me. Thomas De Gendt (Lotto Soudal) serait d&rsquo;ordinaire l&rsquo;un des favoris du jour, mais a montr\u00e9 qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas \u00e0 100% sur ce Giro apr\u00e8s un d\u00e9but de saison tonitruant.
