Le 28 mai, le peloton doit normalement encha\u00eener les ascensions du Passo Gavia et du Passo del Mortirolo. Seulement, le premier de ces deux cols est pour le moment impraticable. Il y a des murs de neige atteignant quatre m\u00e8tres<\/em>, annonce le pr\u00e9sident de la province de Sondrio Elio Moretti. <em>Nous nous engageons de toutes nos forces \u00e0 permettre \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9tape du Giro de se d\u00e9rouler sur le col du Gavia.<\/em> \u00bb<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les op\u00e9rations ne concernent pas uniquement le sommet du Passo Gavia, qui culmine \u00e0 plus de 2600 m\u00e8tres, mais bien toute la mont\u00e9e. Des avalanches ont \u00e9t\u00e9 signal\u00e9es le long de la route, et le manteau neigeux atteint quatre m\u00e8tres d\u00e8s le tunnel.
