Sur un parcours long de \u00ab\u00a0seulement\u00a0\u00bb 140 bornes, les sprinteurs seront attendus \u00e0 l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e de Terracina. Si la journ\u00e9e commence avec deux petites bosses, le parcours ne semble pas proposer de pi\u00e8ge. Il y a une seule difficult\u00e9 r\u00e9pertori\u00e9e au classement de la montagne : la mont\u00e9e de Sezze (4e cat., 3,9km \u00e0 5%). Celle-ci \u00e9maille peu apr\u00e8s la mi-parcours. Les 40 derniers kilom\u00e8tres sont parfaitement plats, ce qui permettra sans doute un emballage massif. D&rsquo;autant que le peloton passera une premi\u00e8re fois sur la ligne, \u00e0 10 unit\u00e9s du but. Pascal Ackermann (Bora-hansgrohe) et Fernando Gaviria (UAE-Team Emirates), les vainqueurs respectifs, seront donc \u00e0 surveiller de pr\u00e8s. Mais peut-\u00eatre moins que leur rival Elia Viviani (Deceuninck-Quick Step). Le champion d&rsquo;Italie s&rsquo;est class\u00e9 2e du premier sprint avant de remporter le second \u00e0 la p\u00e9dale et d&rsquo;\u00eatre d\u00e9class\u00e9. Il devrait donc \u00eatre particuli\u00e8rement revanchard. Deuxi\u00e8me hier, intercal\u00e9 entre un grimpeur et un puncheur, Caleb Ewan (Lotto Soudal) a lui montr\u00e9 son excellente condition sur un final difficile. Arnaud D\u00e9mare (Groupama-FDJ) s&rsquo;est aussi class\u00e9 dans le top 10 et semble \u00eatre sur la montante.
