Ce dimanche, les coureurs quitteront Bologne pour rallier Fucecchio en 205 kilom\u00e8tres. <a href=\"https:\/\/cyclingpro.net\/velopro\/course\/giro-ditalia-tour-italie\/giro-primoz-roglic-ecrase-la-concurrence-dentree\/\">Apr\u00e8s la d\u00e9monstration offerte par Primoz Roglic sur le chrono d&rsquo;ouverture<\/a>, la deuxi\u00e8me \u00e9tape pourrait bien \u00eatre le terrain d&rsquo;une premi\u00e8re explication entre sprinteurs. Cela \u00e9tant, le profil du jour n&rsquo;est pas tout plat. Apr\u00e8s 50 kilom\u00e8tres, il faudra n\u00e9gocier l&rsquo;ascension (non r\u00e9pertori\u00e9e au classement de la montagne) vers La Serra. Les petites bosses s&rsquo;encha\u00eenent ensuite dans le final. Ainsi le premier sprint interm\u00e9diaire du jour, au km130,5, est jug\u00e9 au sommet d&rsquo;une c\u00f4te de 2,7km \u00e0 4,9%, avant deux petites mont\u00e9es : Montalbano (3e cat., 5,8km \u00e0 6,7%), puis San Baronto (4e cat., 11,3km \u00e0 2,4%). A commencer par le champion d&rsquo;Italie Elia Viviani (Deceuninck-Quick Step), vainqueur de quatre \u00e9tapes l&rsquo;an dernier. Viennent ensuite Caleb Ewan (Lotto Soudal), Fernando Gaviria (UAE-Team Emirates) et Pascal Ackermann (Bora-hansgrohe). Les chances fran\u00e7aises seront d\u00e9fendues par Arnaud D\u00e9mare (Groupama-FDJ) alors qu&rsquo;une myriade de sprinteurs italiens compl\u00e8tent la liste des outsiders.
