Longue de 149,5 kilom\u00e8tres entre Zumarraga et Gorraiz, elle semble d\u00e9vou\u00e9e aux puncheurs. Il y a tout de m\u00eame trois ascensions dans les 40 premiers kilom\u00e8tres, deux de troisi\u00e8me cat\u00e9gorie et une non r\u00e9pertori\u00e9e. Un tremplin id\u00e9al pour la formation d&rsquo;une \u00e9chapp\u00e9e. Le parcours du jour propose \u00e9galement 4800 m\u00e8tres de chemins de terre sur route \u00e9troite. Un passage important pour les candidats au g\u00e9n\u00e9ral. Finalement, l&rsquo;\u00e9tape se conclut par une mont\u00e9e de 800 m\u00e8tres \u00e0 5,6%.
