Lourdement tomb\u00e9 sur l&rsquo;E3 BinckBank Classic vendredi dernier, le Belge d&rsquo;EF Education First a \u00e9t\u00e9 touch\u00e9 aux c\u00f4tes et surtout au genou gauche. Il a alors directement d\u00e9clar\u00e9 forfait pour\u00a0Gand-Wevelgem avant de faire de m\u00eame pour \u00c0 Travers la Flandre. Vanmarcke r\u00e9alisera un ultime test ce vendredi pour voir si son genou est en \u00e9tat d&rsquo;affronter le Tour des Flandres.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Une IRM pass\u00e9e mardi a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 la pr\u00e9sence d&rsquo;un \u0153d\u00e8me important dans son genou. Une blessure qui n\u00e9cessite normalement quelques semaines de repos, mais Vanmarcke \u00e9tait d\u00e9cid\u00e9 \u00e0 tout faire pour prendre le d\u00e9part du deuxi\u00e8me Monument de la saison.\u00a0\u00ab <em>J&rsquo;esp\u00e8re que la douleur va devenir supportable. Je ne veux pas que tout mon travail des cinq derniers mois n&rsquo;ait servi \u00e0 rien<\/em>, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9 \u00e0 HLN.be. <em>Cela pourrait avoir de s\u00e9rieuses cons\u00e9quences. Je ne veux pas \u00eatre n\u00e9gatif, mais il est possible que mon printemps soit termin\u00e9.<\/em> \u00bb<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Deux fois sur le podium du deuxi\u00e8me Monument de la saison, Vanmarcke ne participera pas \u00e0 la conf\u00e9rence de pr\u00e9sentation ce jeudi. Il ne prendra pas non plus part \u00e0 l&rsquo;entra\u00eenement de son \u00e9quipe.
