Apr\u00e8s des d\u00e9buts pros tr\u00e8s r\u00e9ussis sur le Tour de San Juan (3e du chrono, 9e du g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, meilleur jeune, ndlr), le coureur de la Deceuninck-Quick Step \u00e9tait pr\u00e9sent depuis quelques jours sur l&rsquo;UAE Tour et s&rsquo;\u00e9tait m\u00eame flanqu\u00e9, hier, d&rsquo;une excellente quinzi\u00e8me place au sommet de Jebel Hafeet, et ce pour sa premi\u00e8re arriv\u00e9e en altitude dans une \u00e9preuve du WorldTour. Malheureusement, le talentueux Flamand n&rsquo;aura pas l&rsquo;opportunit\u00e9 de confirmer cette belle prestation au cours des prochains jours puisqu&rsquo;il a \u00e9t\u00e9 contraint \u00e0 l&rsquo;abandon, ce mercredi, lors de la quatri\u00e8me \u00e9tape. Son \u00e9quipe a plus tard pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 qu&rsquo;il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 victime d&rsquo;une chute, mais a rassur\u00e9 en affirmant qu&rsquo;aucune fracture n&rsquo;avait \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9cel\u00e9e, seulement quelques plaies superficielles.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"fr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Our neo-pro <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/EvenepoelRemco?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@EvenepoelRemco<\/a> was forced to abandon the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/UAETour?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#UAETour<\/a> after being involved in a crash.
