La frazione prender\u00e0 il via dal <strong>Circuito di Magny-Cours<\/strong>, teatro di grandi sfide di Formula 1, per concludersi a <strong>Chalon-sur-Sa\u00f4ne<\/strong> dopo 179,1 chilometri. Lungo il percorso sono previsti tre GPM che, sulla carta, non dovrebbero rappresentare un ostacolo per le ruote veloci, ma potrebbero rappresentare terreno ideale per qualche attacco da lontano. Il finale si preannuncia, sulla carta, simile a quello della tappa numero undici. Da l\u00ec si proseguir\u00e0 verso il primo GPM di giornata, la <strong>C\u00f4te de Lanty<\/strong> (2 km al 4%). Superata la prima delle tre salite di giornata, il percorso si far\u00e0 leggermente pi\u00f9 mosso, alternando continui saliscendi fino al secondo GPM, la <strong>C\u00f4te de Cuzy<\/strong> (2,4 km al 4,5%). Allo scollinamento saranno stati percorsi circa 97 chilometri dei 179,1 chilometri complessivi; da quel momento il gruppo affronter\u00e0 un tratto prevalentemente pianeggiante fino ai 39 chilometri dall&#8217;arrivo.<\/p>\n<p>A quel punto, sar\u00e0 la volta di un&#8217;ascesa non categorizzata, che anticiper\u00e0 il terzo e ultimo GPM di giornata, la <strong>C\u00f4te de Montagny-l\u00e8s-Buxy<\/strong> (2,6 km al 4,3%). In cima alla salita mancheranno soltanto 20 chilometri al traguardo. Dal punto di vista altimetrico, il finale non presenta particolari difficolt\u00e0; a livello planimetrico invece saranno presenti una curva a novanta gradi a circa 2800 metri dall&#8217;arrivo e una successiva curva a gomito ai meno 2500 metri. Le caratteristiche del percorso, con i suoi continui saliscendi, potrebbero rendere il finale particolarmente nervoso. Le caratteristiche del finale sembrano adattarsi perfettamente alle sue qualit\u00e0 e il classe 2001 prover\u00e0 certamente a giocarsi le proprie carte per tornare al successo.<\/p>\n<p>Tra i possibili protagonisti di una volata di gruppo c&#8217;\u00e8 anche <strong>Biniam Girmay<\/strong> (NSN Cycling Team), gi\u00e0 salito due volte sul podio in questo Tour e apparso in costante crescita. Attenzione anche a <strong>Jasper Philipsen<\/strong> (Alpecin-Premier Tech), che finora non \u00e8 ancora riuscito a trovare il giusto colpo di pedale. Da seguire inoltre <strong>Max Kanter<\/strong> (XDS Astana), che pur non avendo la stessa punta di velocit\u00e0 dei principali rivali potrebbe sfruttare l&#8217;ottimo supporto della propria squadra, <strong>Milan Fretin<\/strong> (Cofidis), quarto nella tappa odierna, <strong>Pavel Bittner<\/strong> (Picnic PostNL) e<strong> Michael Matthews<\/strong> (Jayco AlUla), anche se l&#8217;australiano non \u00e8 ancora apparso al massimo della condizione.<\/p>\n<p>Un percorso di questo tipo, per\u00f2, non rende scontato un arrivo in volata a ranghi compatti. In caso di una selezione importante, nomi come quelli di <strong>Mathieu van der Poel<\/strong> (Alpecin-Premier Tech) e <strong>Mads Pedersen<\/strong> (Lidl-Trek) diventano automaticamente tra i principali candidati al successo. Entrambi hanno gi\u00e0 conquistato una tappa in questa edizione e potrebbero imporsi sia in uno sprint di un gruppo selezionato sia con un attacco da lontano. La lotta per la Maglia Verde potrebbe inoltre rappresentare uno stimolo ulteriore per il danese, intenzionato a conquistare punti preziosi. In casa Lidl-Trek resta inoltre da seguire <strong>Mathias Vacek<\/strong>, che potrebbe cercare gloria con un&#8217;azione da lontano.<\/p>\n<p>Dopo il successo odierno, la Uno-X Mobility potrebbe cercare il bis affidandosi a corridori come <strong>Jonas Abrahamsen<\/strong> e <strong>Magnus Cort<\/strong>. Il danese possiede le caratteristiche ideali per superare senza problemi un percorso mosso e giocarsi poi le proprie possibilit\u00e0 in un&#8217;eventuale volata ristretta. In casa EF Education-EasyPost, invece, attenzione a <strong>Kasper Asgreen<\/strong>, possibile protagonista di un attacco da lontano. Non \u00e8 da escludere un ruolo di primo piano per <strong>Dorian Godon<\/strong> (Netcompany Ineos), corridore veloce e resistente che, in caso di arrivo in un gruppo selezionato, rappresenterebbe un avversario particolarmente insidioso. Attenzione anche<strong> Filippo Ganna<\/strong>, suo compagno di squadra, che potrebbe provare ad anticipare tutti con un&#8217;azione da lontano. In un&#8217;eventuale volata ristretta merita infine attenzione <strong>Anthony Turgis<\/strong> (TotalEnergies), gi\u00e0 autore di buoni piazzamenti in questa edizione e dotato delle caratteristiche giuste per lasciare il segno.
