Anche la seconda frazione della corsa spagnola presenter\u00e0 infatti un tracciato abbastanza mosso e sprovvisto di asperit\u00e0 particolarmente impegnative, tuttavia nel finale ci sar\u00e0 un po&#8217; pi\u00f9 di salita rispetto alla giornata inaugurale, sebbene sempre con pendenze piuttosto pedalabili. Probabile, quindi, che al termine dei 167,4 chilometri tra <strong>Figueres<\/strong> e <strong>Banyoles<\/strong> siano nuovamente le ruote veloci a giocarsi la vittoria, ma non sono da escludere colpi di mano negli ultimi chilometri o la possibilit\u00e0 che un gruppetto di attaccanti ben organizzato possa giungere al traguardo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ORARIO DI PARTENZA:<\/strong> 12:55<br \/>\n<strong>ORARIO DI ARRIVO (PREVISTO):<\/strong> 16:48-17:09<br \/>\n<strong>DIRETTA TV E STREAMING:<\/strong> 15:20-17:20 Eurosport 2 \/ Discovery+<br \/>\n<strong>HASHTAG UFFICIALE:<\/strong> #VoltaCatalunya #VoltaCatalunya105<\/p>\n<h2>Percorso Seconda Tappa Volta a Catalunya 2026<\/h2>\n<p>Giornata nel complesso priva di grosse difficolt\u00e0 altimetriche, ma non mancheranno comunque i saliscendi, iniziando gi\u00e0 dai primi chilometri dopo la partenza da <strong>Figueres<\/strong>, quando si affronter\u00e0 un breve strappo e, trascorsi 18 chilometri dal via, l&#8217;unico GPM in programma, l&#8217;<strong>Alt del Purgatori<\/strong> (1,7 km al 5%, max. 15%). Dopo qualche altro su e gi\u00f9 nei successivi 25 chilometri, la fase centrale della tappa sar\u00e0 piuttosto tranquilla e porter\u00e0 il gruppo a transitare prima dal traguardo volante con abbuoni di <strong>Peralada<\/strong> e poi da quello di <strong>Besal\u00fa<\/strong>, posto ai -58,5 dalla conclusione.<\/p>\n<p>Da qui, il percorso torner\u00e0 a farsi movimentato e si incontreranno un paio di brevi strappi che anticiperanno due tratti di salita un po&#8217; pi\u00f9 lunghi, ma con pendenze piuttosto leggere, il secondo dei quali comprender\u00e0 il passaggio dallo sprint intermedio di <strong>Olot<\/strong> e si concluder\u00e0 a 28 chilometri all&#8217;arrivo. Difficile che ci possa essere grande selezione, anche tra le ruote veloci, che eventualmente potranno riaccodarsi al plotone sfruttando la successiva lunga discesa, anche se sar\u00e0 spezzata da tre contropendenze che potrebbero invogliare qualcuno ad attaccare per provare ad anticipare. La strada continuer\u00e0 a scendere fino praticamente all&#8217;ultimo chilometro, ma il traguardo di <strong>Banyoles<\/strong> non sar\u00e0 in piano bens\u00ec in lieve ascesa, che imporr\u00e0 agli sprinter di scegliere il momento giusto per lanciare la volata.<\/p>\n<h2>Favoriti Seconda Tappa Volta a Catalunya 2026<\/h2>\n<p>Con molta probabilit\u00e0, anche in questa seconda frazione troveranno spazio i velocisti resistenti. Tra i principali candidati c\u2019\u00e8 dunque <strong>Dorian Godon<\/strong> (Ineos Grenadiers), che potrebbe provare a replicare il successo della prima tappa. Il francese ha gi\u00e0 mostrato un\u2019ottima condizione, confermando le sensazioni positive emerse alla Parigi-Nizza. Attenzione anche a <strong>Ethan Vernon<\/strong> (NSN Cycling Team), che dopo aver faticato nella giornata inaugurale prover\u00e0 a riscattarsi e per riuscirci potr\u00e0 contare sul supporto di corridori come <strong>Jake Stewart<\/strong> e <strong>Brady Gilmore<\/strong>, valide alternative all\u2019interno della formazione svizzera.<\/p>\n<p>Da non sottovalutare <strong>Matev\u017e Govekar<\/strong> (Bahrain Victorious), corridore solido e resistente, in grado di dare il suo meglio in una volata su percorso impegnativo, e <strong>Magnus Cort<\/strong> (Uno-X Mobility), corridore esperto che si esprime al meglio su tracciati mossi, soprattutto in caso di sprint ristretti. In uno scenario selettivo potrebbero emergere anche gli italiani <strong>Andrea Raccagni Noviero<\/strong> (Soudal Quick-Step), <strong>Francesco Busatto<\/strong> (Alpecin-Premier Tech) e <strong>Simone Gualdi<\/strong> (Lotto-Intermarch\u00e9), quest\u2019ultimo gi\u00e0 protagonista con un ottimo quinto posto sul traguardo di Sant Feliu de Gu\u00edxols. Insieme a loro, da considerare anche <strong>Toon Aerts<\/strong> (Lotto-Intermarch\u00e9), <strong>Sergi Darder<\/strong> (Caja Rural-Seguros RGA) <strong>Henok Mulubrhan<\/strong> e <strong>Guillermo Thomas Silva<\/strong> (XDS Astana), che ha sfiorato il podio nella frazione inaugurale.<\/p>\n<p>Tra gli sprinter un po&#8217; pi\u00f9 puri, ma che potrebbero comunque sopravvivere ai saliscendi e arrivare a giocarsi la vittoria, spiccano l\u2019azzurro <strong>Alberto Dainese<\/strong> (Soudal Quick-Step), <strong>Mathieu Kockelmann<\/strong> e <strong>Matthew Fox<\/strong>\u00a0(Lotto-Intermarch\u00e9), <strong>Noah Hobbs<\/strong> (EF Education-EasyPost) e <strong>Henri Uhlig<\/strong> (Alpecin-Premier Tech), mostratosi in ottima forma e gi\u00e0 a segno in questa stagione. Da tenere in considerazione anche <strong>Riley Pickrell<\/strong> (Modern Adventure Pro Cycling)\u00a0e <strong>Sam Bennett<\/strong> (Pinarello-Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team), atteso di nuovo ai livelli di un tempo dopo i problemi di salute riscontrati nei mesi scorsi.<\/p>\n<p>Il finale, comunque, potrebbe propiziare qualche attacco per cercare di evitare lo sprint, cos\u00ec come potrebbe consentire alla fuga di giornata di resistere al rientro del gruppo. In tal caso, tra coloro che potrebbero muoversi dalla lunga distanza o pi\u00f9 vicini all&#8217;arrivo, possiamo citare <strong>Marc Soler<\/strong> (UAE Team Emirates XRG),<strong> Filippo Zana<\/strong> (Soudal Quick-Step),<strong> Bruno Armirail<\/strong> (Visma | Lease a Bike), <strong>Georg Steinhauser<\/strong> (EF Education-EasyPost), <strong>Paul Double<\/strong> (Team Jayco AlUla) e i corridori delle formazioni Professional spagnole.<\/p>\n<p>Non \u00e8 neppure da escludere una possibile azione degli uomini di classifica e, in caso di corsa particolarmente selettiva, qualcuno potrebbe provare ad anticipare. Primo fra tutti, <strong>Tom Pidcock<\/strong> (Pinarello-Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team), apparso in grande forma nelle ultime settimane. Occhi puntati anche su <strong>Remco Evenepoel<\/strong> (Red Bull-Bora-hansgrohe), rientrato dopo il periodo in altura e determinato a prendersi la vittoria sfuggita per poco nella prima tappa. Anche <strong>Jo\u00e3o Almeida<\/strong> (UAE Team Emirates XRG), <strong>Jonas Vingegaard<\/strong> (Visma | Lease a Bike), <strong>Mattias Skjelmose<\/strong> (Lidl-Trek) e <strong>Oscar Onley<\/strong> (Ineos Grenadiers), con ambizioni di classifica generale, potrebbero muoversi per guadagnare secondi preziosi. Per gli uomini di classifica sar\u00e0 quindi fondamentale prestare attenzione e correre magari nelle prime posizioni per evitare di farsi sorprendere. Riguardo alla probabile volata finale, invece, sar\u00e0 importante per i velocisti non essere troppo indietro all&#8217;ultima curva, a 500 metri dall&#8217;arrivo, e avere un tempismo perfetto per
