Diversamente da quanto avvenuto nel recente passato, la frazione inaugurale di questa edizione avr\u00e0 un percorso fondamentalmente pianeggiante, dando cos\u00ec la possibilit\u00e0 ai velocisti presenti in gara di andare a caccia della prima Maglia Gialla. Lungo il tracciato ci saranno infatti solo tre Gran Premi della Montagna, tutti di quarta categoria, che non dovrebbero causare alcuna selezione. In mezzo c&#8217;\u00e8 un tracciato che conta complessivamente 1150 metri di dislivello positivo, senza per\u00f2 particolari difficolt\u00e0 altimetriche. Dopo un inizio tranquillo, i corridori andranno ad affrontare la <strong>C\u00f4te de Notre-Dame-de-Lorette<\/strong> (1 km, 7,6%), primo Gran premio della Montagna di questo Tour. All&#8217;altezza del chilometro 87,5, in localit\u00e0 <strong>La Motte-au-Bois (Morbecque)<\/strong> sar\u00e0 invece posizionato il primo traguardo volante, che non metter\u00e0 in palio secondi di abbuono (come tutti gli altri di questa edizione).<\/p>\n<p>Nella seconda met\u00e0 di gara ci saranno gli altri due GPM di giornata, <strong>Mont Cassel<\/strong> (1,9 km, 3,5%) e <strong>Mont Noir<\/strong> (1,3 km, 6,4%). Quest&#8217;ultimo terminer\u00e0 quando all&#8217;arrivo mancheranno ancora 45 chilometri. Da l\u00ec in poi sar\u00e0 presumibilmente corsa velocissima fino agli ultimi chilometri, dato il profilo altimetrico, interamente pianeggiante. Il finale sar\u00e0 peraltro contraddistinto da una serie di curve a gomito: la prima sar\u00e0 ai -4 dall&#8217;arrivo e ce ne saranno altre tre prima dell&#8217;ultima, che andr\u00e0 affrontata poco prima del triangolo rosso dell&#8217;ultimo chilometro. In tanti, infatti, hanno messo nel mirino questa giornata, a partire dal campione europeo <strong>Tim Merlier<\/strong> (Soudal Quick-Step), che tra questa stagione e quella passata ha sbagliato davvero poche volate, mettendo insieme ben 26 vittorie negli ultimi 18 mesi. Numeri impressionanti quelli del 32enne belga, che sembra aver raggiunto il massimo del suo potenziale e, rispetto ad altri sprinter, non sembra necessitare di un treno dedicato, riuscendo spesso a trovare lo spazio e la giusta posizione da solo per poi scatenare tutta la sua potenza nelle ultime centinaia di metri.<\/p>\n<p>Tra i principali favoriti ci sar\u00e0 poi il connazionale <strong>Jasper Philipsen<\/strong> (Alpecin-Deceuninck), vincitore di nove tappe al Tour negli ultimi tre anni. Il 27enne ha esultato poco nella prima parte di stagione, dove ha preparato soprattutto alle classiche, decidendo di concentrarsi sulle volate proprio in vista della Grande Boucle, dove potr\u00e0 contare su un treno molto forte nel quale trovano spazio due &#8220;ultimi uomini&#8221; di qualit\u00e0 quali <strong>Kaden Groves<\/strong> (che a sua volta potrebbe lanciarsi nello sprint se qualcosa dovesse andare storto per Philipsen) e Mathieu Van Der Poel. Un treno ben collaudato lo ha per\u00f2 anche <strong>Jonathan Milan<\/strong> (Lidl-Trek), l&#8217;altro grande nome per le volate di questa edizione del GT transalpino. All&#8217;esordio assoluto al Tour, il friulano spera di lasciare il segno in almeno un&#8217;occasione per tornare a far vincere una tappa all&#8217;Italia dopo quasi sei anni dall&#8217;ultima, e se questo successo arrivasse nella frazione inaugurale porterebbe con s\u00e9 anche la Maglia Gialla, che un corridore italiano non veste sempre da sei anni.<\/p>\n<p>I tre sopracitati partono con i favori del pronostico, ma alle loro spalle sono in molti coloro che proveranno a inserirsi nella lotta, ancor pi\u00f9 incentivati proprio dalla possibilit\u00e0 di andare a vestire, anche solo per un giorno, il simbolo del primato. Dopo aver gi\u00e0 fatto la storia l&#8217;anno scorso come primo africano di colore a vincere una tappa (oltre alla Maglia Verde), prover\u00e0 a ripetersi <strong>Biniam Girmay<\/strong> (Intermarch\u00e9-Wanty), che in questo 2025 non \u00e8 ancora riuscito a vincere e ha un po&#8217; faticato, ma che difficilmente non si far\u00e0 trovare pronto per questo appuntamento. Attenzione poi anche all&#8217;esperienza di <strong>Dylan Groenewegen<\/strong> (Team Jayco AlUla), gi\u00e0 sei tappe vinte al Tour in carriera, che nonostante non abbia probabilmente pi\u00f9 quella punta di velocit\u00e0 di alcuni anni fa resta uno sprinter di livello assoluto, come dimostrato anche dodici mesi fa conquistando il successo nella sesta frazione.<\/p>\n<p>Da tenere in grande considerazione c&#8217;\u00e8 anche <strong>Jordi Meeus<\/strong> (Red Bull-Bora-hansgrohe), che alla Grande Boucle \u00e8 gi\u00f9 riuscito a vincere una tappa prestigiosa, quella sugli Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es nell&#8217;edizione 2023, e che potr\u00e0 contare sul supporto del neo campione neerlandese <strong>Danny Van Poppel<\/strong>, a sua volta corridore da non sottovalutare negli arrivi veloci. A loro possiamo aggiungere anche <strong>Phil Bauhaus<\/strong> (Bahrain Victorious), poco vincente ma spesso piazzato, <strong>Arnaud De Lie<\/strong> (Lotto), reduce da una prima parte di stagione decisamente sottotono, ma capace di grandi risultati quando \u00e8 in forma, e la giovane coppia del Team Picnic PostNL formata da <strong>Tobias Lund Andresen<\/strong> e <strong>Pavel Bittner<\/strong>, entrambi all&#8217;esordio al Tour, con soprattutto il primo che potrebbe dire la sua in questa giornata.<\/p>\n<p>Proveranno ovviamente a lottare per la vittoria gli sprinter padroni di casa, a partire da <strong>Emilien Jeanni\u00e8re<\/strong> (TotalEnergies), autore di numerosi bei piazzamenti in questa annata, passando poi per gli esperti <strong>Arnaud D\u00e9mare<\/strong> (Ark\u00e9a-B&amp;B Hotels), due tappe vinte al Tour, ma a secco da parecchio tempo, e <strong>Bryan Coquard<\/strong> (Cofidis), che nel GT francese non \u00e8 invece mai riuscito ad andare a segno, andandoci vicino in un paio di occasioni, per finire con il giovane <strong>Paul Penho\u00ebt<\/strong> (Groupama-FDJ), al primo Grande Giro in carriera. Tra coloro che quasi sicuramente vedremo nella mischia possiamo citare anche <strong>Marijn Van Den Berg<\/strong> (EF Education-EasyPost), <strong>Alberto Dainese<\/strong> (Tudor Pro Cycling Team), <strong>S\u00f8ren W\u00e6renskjold<\/strong> (Uno-X Mobility), <strong>Cees Bol<\/strong> (XDS Astana) e il duo della Israel-Premier Tech <strong>Pascal Ackermann<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>Jake Stewart<\/strong>, senza chiaramente dimenticare <strong>Wout Van Aert<\/strong> (Visma | Lease a Bike).<\/p>\n<p>Il belga, probabilmente, non ha pi\u00f9 lo stesso spunto che qualche stagione fa gli ha permesso di vincere anche qualche volata al Tour, ma ovviamente resta un corridore da non sottovalutare, soprattutto in caso di uno sprint pi\u00f9 ristretto. Considerando infatti che le previsioni meteo indicano presenza di vento laterale, c&#8217;\u00e8 anche la possibilit\u00e0 che a giocarsi il successo di giornata sia un gruppo non al completo, spezzatosi a causa dei ventagli. Temperatura prevista: minima 21\u00b0 C, massima 23\u00b0 C.<\/p>\n<h2>Maggiori insidie Prima Tappa Tour de France 2025<\/h2>\n<p>Anche se la tappa \u00e8 piuttosto semplice dal punto di vista altimetrico, le insidie non mancheranno sicuramente, a partire dal vento, che, se venissero confermate le previsioni, i corridori dovrebbero trovare laterale per gran parte della giornata. Unito ai diversi cambi di direzione, ci\u00f2 aumenter\u00e0 il nervosismo in gruppo e, di conseguenza, il rischio di cadute, cui nel finale si aggiungeranno l&#8217;alta velocit\u00e0 e la lotta per le posizioni in vista del probabile sprint, oltre ai classici ostacoli al traffico nei vari passaggi cittadini.
