Lungo il tracciato ci sono alcune difficolt\u00e0 altimetriche che potrebbero mettere un po&#8217; di sale sulla corsa, ma il successo di giornata non dovrebbe sfuggire ai corridori pi\u00f9 attrezzati per un finale ad altissimo ritmo, che per\u00f2 dovranno essere in ottime condizioni per non rischiare di venire staccati o di non essere comunque in grado di giocarsi le loro carte.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ORARIO DI PARTENZA:<\/strong> 12:45<br \/>\n<strong>ORARIO DI ARRIVO (PREVISTO):<\/strong> 16:47-17:10<br \/>\n<strong>DIRETTA TV E STREAMING:<\/strong> 15:15-17:15 Eurosport 2 \/ Discovery+<br \/>\n<strong>HASHTAG UFFICIALE:<\/strong> #VoltaCatalunya104<\/p>\n<h2>Percorso Prima Tappa Volta a Catalunya 2025<\/h2>\n<p>Si parte quindi, e si arriva, a<strong> Sant Feliu de Guixols<\/strong>. Gli estremi sono gli stessi della prima tappa dello scorso anno, ma il tracciato \u00e8 notevolmente diverso. I primi chilometri saranno in leggera salita e porteranno i corridori al primo traguardo volante di giornata, posto a <strong>Palafrugell<\/strong>. Un tratto abbastanza accidentato far\u00e0 poi da trampolino per il primo Gpm della corsa, il <strong>Coll de Begur<\/strong> (4,4 km al 4%, max. 8%). A questo punto l&#8217;eventuale fuga di giornata si sar\u00e0 gi\u00e0 formata e potr\u00e0 fare rotta verso il secondo traguardo volante della frazione, situato a <strong>La Bisbal d&#8217;Empord\u00e0<\/strong>.\u00a0Un nuovo Gpm attender\u00e0 a quel punto i corridori, che dovranno scalare l&#8217;<strong>Alt de Santa Pellaia<\/strong> (7,7 km al 3%, max. 10%), salita non durissima, ma che potrebbe chiedere qualche sforzo imprevisto ai velocisti in gara.<\/p>\n<p>Una volta scollinato, il percorso si far\u00e0 in discesa fino a raggiungere il litorale, in localit\u00e0 Tossa de Mar. Un breve settore movimentato porter\u00e0 poi la corsa a passare sotto lo striscione dell&#8217;arrivo, quando per\u00f2 mancheranno ancora 61,4 chilometri alla conclusione. In questo spazio ci saranno il terzo traguardo volante di giornata, a <strong>Llagostera<\/strong>, e qualche tratto in pendenza positiva, prima del ritorno sul mare e di un secondo passaggio sulla strada gi\u00e0 percorsa in precedenza, fra Tossa de Mar e l&#8217;arrivo. L&#8217;ultimo chilometro tende leggermente all&#8217;ins\u00f9 e potr\u00e0 anche rappresentare un fattore nella lotta per il successo.<\/p>\n<h2>Favoriti Prima Tappa Volta a Catalunya 2025<\/h2>\n<p>I velocisti in gara non sono molti e, per certi versi, i papabili protagonisti sono molti di quelli che animavano arrivi simili alla scorsa Vuelta a Espa\u00f1a 2024. Ecco quindi che <strong>Kaden Groves<\/strong> (Alpecin-Deceuninck), ottimo interprete della recente Milano-Sanremo, si candida al ruolo di favorito numero 1 per il primo traguardo della corsa. L&#8217;australiano ha gi\u00e0 fatto vedere di saper assorbire bene strappi brevi e non particolarmente aspri e avr\u00e0 dalla sua anche il sostegno di una squadra che sa muoversi molto bene in contesti di questo tipo e che ha anche a disposizione una carta di riserva del calibro di Quinten Hermans.<\/p>\n<p>Chi sembra stare molto bene e potr\u00e0 gradire le condizioni meteo non propriamente estive previste \u00e8 <strong>Andrea Vendrame<\/strong> (Decathlon Ag2R La Mondiale), per il quale un percorso s\u00ec veloce, ma anche abbastanza selettivo sembra confezionato su misura. Il veneto ha iniziato bene la stagione e potr\u00e0 andare liberamente a caccia di risultati personali, magari combinando le forze con il compagno di squadra <strong>Dorian Godon<\/strong>, altro corridore che in finali veloci e, soprattutto, in gruppi selezionati ha dimostrato di trovarsi molto a suo agio. Nel mazzo dei corridori veloci e resistenti in gara c&#8217;\u00e8 poi <strong>Corbin Strong<\/strong> (Israel-Premier Tech), anche lui reduce da una buona Sanremo e pure lui capace di produrre spunti notevoli al termine di giornate combattute e logoranti come potrebbe essere questa. La squadra israelo-canadese ha una seconda punta particolarmente affilata, dato che <strong>Ethan Vernon<\/strong> \u00e8 corridore che ha ottime qualit\u00e0, parametrate a una corsa come questa, e che arriva da una serie di buoni piazzamenti.<\/p>\n<p>Chi arriva all&#8217;appuntamento catalano con il morale a mille \u00e8 il giovane britannico <strong>Matthew Brennan<\/strong>, stella in divenire della Visma|Lease a Bike. Le sue qualit\u00e0 andranno misurate in un contesto WorldTour, ma quanto fatto vedere dal ragazzo nelle ultime settimane promette sicuramente molto bene. Tornando a corridori che su queste strade hanno gi\u00e0 lasciato il loro segno, c&#8217;\u00e8 da considerare sicuramente la presenza di <strong>Pavel Bittner<\/strong> (Picnic PostNL): il ceco \u00e8 stato grande protagonista della Vuelta 2024 e nell&#8217;ambito di un campo velocisti di questo tipo pu\u00f2 sicuramente lasciare il suo marchio. Attenzione anche a <strong>Nils Eekhoff<\/strong>, compagno di colori di Bittner, che si \u00e8 ripreso alla grande dall&#8217;incidente di gara di inizio stagione e che ha mostrato una gran gamba nelle ultime uscite.<\/p>\n<p>Attenzione poi a un corridore che ha raccolto i risultati pi\u00f9 importanti della sua carriera in giornate molto simili a questa, nervose e con una concorrenza qualificata s\u00ec, ma non irresistibile: si tratta di <strong>Marijn van den Berg<\/strong> (Ef Education-EasyPost), che sa trovare gli spazi migliori per farsi valere su traguardi di questo tipo. Chi sar\u00e0 poi molto atteso \u00e8 <strong>Ethan Hayter<\/strong> (Soudal Quick-Step), che di questi arrivi sembrava poter diventare uno specialista e che invece si \u00e8 un po&#8217; perso, nell&#8217;ultima parte della sua esperienza alla Ineos: ora la maglia \u00e8 cambiata e bisogner\u00e0 vedere se sono cambiate, in meglio, anche le sensazioni del britannico. Dal canto suo, la ex squadra di Hayter si affider\u00e0 probabilmente ad <strong>Axel Laurance<\/strong>, che potrebbe anche provare qualche mossa a sorpresa nel finale, data la sua capacit\u00e0 di saper sviluppare attacchi ficcanti per un periodo prolungato.<\/p>\n<p>Qualcosa ci si pu\u00f2 aspettare da <strong>Matev\u017e Govekar<\/strong> (Bahrain Victorious), altro corridore che ha uno spunto veloce che potrebbe fare la differenza in un finale caotico e livellato. Gli stessi colori dello sloveno li ha addosso <strong>Nicol\u00f2 Buratti<\/strong>, che ha le qualit\u00e0 per mettersi quantomeno in luce negli ultimi chilometri. <strong>Stanis\u0142aw Anio\u0142kowski<\/strong> (Cofidis) \u00e8 un velocista maggiormente &#8220;puro&#8221; e potrebbe fare un po&#8217; pi\u00f9 di fatica a tenere le ruote di corridori pi\u00f9 agili in un eventuale finale combattuto, ma se il gruppo dovesse presentarsi all&#8217;arrivo tendenzialmente compatto, il polacco potrebbe sicuramente dire la sua. Veloce e resistente \u00e8 poi <strong>Pau Miquel<\/strong> (Kern Pharma), corridore che pu\u00f2 inserirsi quantomeno nella lotta per i piazzamenti di giornata, ma che pu\u00f2 anche ambire a qualcosa in pi\u00f9. Si butter\u00e0 nella mischia probabilmente anche <strong>Jon Aberasturi<\/strong>, che \u00e8 il finalizzatore pi\u00f9 accreditato della Euskaltel-Euskadi.<\/p>\n<p>La possibilit\u00e0 che una fuga, da lontano o che si sviluppi nel settore finale di gara, non \u00e8 comunque del tutto da escludere. I corridori che puntano alla classifica dovranno muoversi con attenzione, evitando gli incidenti di gara e anche eventuali &#8220;imbottigliamenti&#8221;, soprattutto nel finale.
