Ci sar\u00e0 infatti ben poca pianura lungo il percorso della dodicesima frazione, che da <strong>Roanne<\/strong> porter\u00e0 il gruppo a <strong>Belleville-en-Beaujolais<\/strong> attraverso 168,8 chilometri, cinque GPM e pi\u00f9 di 3000 metri di dislivello. Le principali salite, tuttavia, saranno poste abbastanza lontano dal traguardo (l&#8217;ultima verr\u00e0 scollinata a poco meno di 30 chilometri dalla conclusione), dunque il successo di tappa sar\u00e0 probabilmente un affare tra fuggitivi. Il primo GPM di giornata, per\u00f2, sar\u00e0 posto al chilometro 20,5 e sar\u00e0 la <strong>C\u00f4te de Thizy-les-Bourgs\u00a0<\/strong>(4,3 km al 5,6%), con i corridori che in seguito rimarranno in quota prima di affrontare il successivo <strong>Col des \u00c9corbans\u00a0<\/strong>(2,1 km al 6,9%). Questi due GPM potrebbero essere sufficienti a portare via una fuga molto interessante, ma, se non dovessero bastare, i corridori avranno a disposizione i successivi trenta chilometri, piuttosto vallonati, per riuscire ad andare all&#8217;attacco. Questa fase di corsa sar\u00e0 seguita da una discesa che porter\u00e0 il gruppo nel tratto di percorso pi\u00f9 semplice (ma comunque mai veramente pianeggiante), dove si transiter\u00e0 anche dal traguardo volante di <strong>R\u00e9gin\u00e9-Durette<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>La situazione torner\u00e0 a farsi movimentata a una 70 di chilometri dalla conclusione: qui, i corridori dovranno affrontare in rapida successione il <strong>Col de Casse Froide\u00a0<\/strong>(5,2 km al 6,1%), il\u00a0<strong>Col de la Croix Montmain\u00a0<\/strong>(5,5 km al 6,1%) e il\u00a0<strong>Col de la Croix Rosier\u00a0<\/strong>(5,3 km al 7,6%), intervallate tra loro da discese abbastanza complicate. In cima all&#8217;ultimo GPM, che nella prima parte proporr\u00e0 alcuni tratti in doppia cifra, ci saranno a disposizione anche dei secondi di abbuono che potrebbero fare gola agli uomini di classifica in caso la fuga venisse neutralizzata. Il 33enne \u00e8 per\u00f2 risalito parecchio in classifica generale e, di conseguenza, molto difficilmente avr\u00e0 spazio per attaccare, mentre maggiori possibilit\u00e0 potrebbe avercele il compagno di squadra <strong>Matej Mohoric<\/strong>. Lo sloveno ha sfoderato un&#8217;ottima prestazione in salita sul Puy de D\u00f4me e le sue qualit\u00e0 in discesa sono ben note, quindi questa sembrerebbe essere una giornata perfetta per lui. In ogni caso, la formazione mediorientale pu\u00f2 giocarsi altre carte importanti come <strong>Fred Wright<\/strong>, <strong>Jack Haig<\/strong> e <strong>Wout Poels<\/strong>, tutti corridori che potrebbero mettersi in evidenza attaccando da lontano.<\/p>\n<p>Tante frecce al proprio arco le hanno anche squadre come EF Education-EasyPost e Movistar, che hanno perso a inizio Tour il loro capitano e che devono quindi puntare sulle fughe per fare risultato. La compagine statunitense pu\u00f2 contare sulla Maglia a Pois <strong>Neilson Powless<\/strong>, che potrebbe incrementare il proprio vantaggio nella classifica scalatori visti i vari GPM in programma, su <strong>Esteban Chaves<\/strong> e <strong>James Shaw<\/strong>, gi\u00e0 protagonisti in fuga, oltre che su <strong>Rigoberto Uran<\/strong> e <strong>Alberto Bettiol<\/strong>, che finora non sono riusciti a mettersi molto in evidenza. Per la formazione spagnola, invece, i nomi da tenere d&#8217;occhio sono quelli di <strong>Matteo Jorgenson<\/strong>, <strong>Ruben Guerreiro<\/strong> e <strong>Gorka Izagirre<\/strong>, ma attenzione anche ad <strong>Alex Aranburu<\/strong>, che ultimamente ha evidenziato discreti miglioramenti in salita e che, in caso di sprint a ranghi ristretti, potrebbe sfruttare il suo spunto veloce per mettersi alle spalle tutti quanti.<\/p>\n<p>Ovviamente, come sempre accade al Tour, le squadre di casa cercheranno di sfruttare giornate come questa per provare a portare a casa un successo. Per la Groupama-FDJ, i corridori maggiormente adatti a un percorso del genere dovrebbero essere il campione nazionale transalpino <strong>Valentin Madouas<\/strong> e <strong>Quentin Pacher<\/strong>, mentre TotalEnergies e Ark\u00e9a-Samsic potrebbero puntare rispettivamente su <strong>Pierre Latour<\/strong> e <strong>Mathieu Burgaudeau<\/strong> e su <strong>Warren Barguil<\/strong> e <strong>Cl\u00e9ment Champoussin<\/strong>. Per Cofidis e Ag2r Citroen, invece, attenzione ai due uomini di classifica gi\u00e0 scivolati lontano dalle posizioni di vertice, ovvero <strong>Guillaume Martin<\/strong> e <strong>Ben O&#8217;Connor<\/strong>, che potrebbero sfruttare la tappa per recuperare un po&#8217; di tempo in classifica, oltre che per cercare una vittoria parziale. Entrambe le formazioni, comunque, possono contare su altri potenziali protagonisti: la prima su <strong>Simon Geschke<\/strong> e <strong>Ion Izagirre<\/strong>, la seconda su <strong>Beno\u00eet Cosnefroy<\/strong>, <strong>Aur\u00e9lien Paret-Peintre<\/strong> e <strong>Cl\u00e9ment Berthet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Potrebbe essere questa la volta buona per <strong>Wout Van Aert<\/strong>? Il belga della Jumbo-Visma non \u00e8 ancora riuscito a lasciare il segno in questa edizione della Grande Boucle, all&#8217;inizio della quale l&#8217;obiettivo dichiarato era proprio quello di un successo di tappa; dopo questa, per\u00f2, le occasioni per lui nei prossimi giorni e fino a fine Tour non saranno pi\u00f9 molte (anche perch\u00e9 il 28enne dovr\u00e0 mettersi a disposizione del capitano Vingegaard), quindi non sarebbe una sorpresa vederlo all&#8217;attacco in questa giornata. Un altro big alla ricerca di una vittoria \u00e8 sicuramente <strong>Julian Alaphilippe<\/strong> (Soudal-QuickStep): in altri tempi, l&#8217;ex campione del mondo sarebbe stato probabilmente il favorito numero uno in una frazione del genere, ma ultimamente sta faticando a trovare buoni risultati, anche se a Issoire ha centrato il decimo posto al termine di una fuga da lontano. Per il 31enne vale un po&#8217; lo stesso discorso fatto per Van Aert: questa tappa potrebbe essere una delle ultime occasioni buone di questo Tour, dato che nelle giornate pi\u00f9 impegnative il francese dovrebbe pagare il confronto con gli scalatori puri.<\/p>\n<p>Saranno poi da tenere d&#8217;occhio tutti quei corridori gi\u00e0 andati all&#8217;attacco nelle scorse tappe e che potrebbero riprovarci in questa giornata. <strong>Michal Kwiatkowski<\/strong> potrebbe essere la carta pi\u00f9 interessante della Ineos Grenadiers assieme a <strong>Daniel Felipe Martinez<\/strong>, ormai molto lontano in classifica generale, mentre <strong>Lilian Calmejane<\/strong> e <strong>Georg Zimmermann<\/strong>, quest&#8217;ultimo gi\u00e0 vicino al successo nella decima frazione, dovrebbero essere le opzioni migliori per la Intermarch\u00e9-Circus-Wanty. Il percorso sembra particolarmente adatto a un corridore come <strong>Mattias Skjelmose Jensen<\/strong> (Lidl-Trek), ma in caso il danese volesse attendere le tappe alpine (come probabilmente far\u00e0 anche <strong>Giulio Ciccone<\/strong>), allora potrebbe essere <strong>Tony Gallopin<\/strong>, al suo ultimo Tour, a cercare di inserirsi nella fuga da lontano per la compagine statunitense.<\/p>\n<p>Gi\u00e0 andata a segno sul Puy de D\u00f4me con <strong>Michael Woods<\/strong>, la Israel-Premier Tech potrebbe veder protagonista nuovamente l&#8217;esperto canadese ma anche <strong>Krists Neilands<\/strong>, che ha dimostrato di essere in ottima forma, anche se su un tracciato come questo potrebbe essere pi\u00f9 indicato <strong>Dylan Teuns<\/strong>, che finora non \u00e8 riuscito a mettersi particolarmente in evidenza. Sono comunque numerosi i corridori del gruppo che possono far bene in una giornata come questa: tra i possibili attaccanti possiamo citare <strong>Bob Jungels<\/strong> e <strong>Patrick Konrad<\/strong> (Bora-hansgrohe), <strong>Tiesj Benoot<\/strong> (Jumbo-Visma), <strong>Alexey Lutsenko<\/strong> e <strong>David De La Cruz<\/strong> (Astana Qazaqstan), <strong>Chris Hamilton<\/strong> e <strong>Kevin Vermaerke<\/strong> (Team DSM-Firmenich), <strong>Tobias Halland Johannessen<\/strong>, <strong>Jonas Gregaard<\/strong> e <strong>Torstein Tr\u00e6en<\/strong> (Uno-X Pro Cycling Team), <strong>Maxim Van Gils<\/strong> (Lotto Dsnty) e <strong>Quinten Hermans<\/strong> (Alpecin-Deceuninck), mentre <strong>Mathieu Van Der Poel<\/strong>, compagno di squadra del belga, non \u00e8 stato molto bene negli ultimi giorni, quindi bisogner\u00e0 vedere se si sar\u00e0 ripreso. Anche se fosse in ottima forma, per\u00f2, le salite in programma potrebbero risultare troppo impegnative per lui.<\/p>\n<p>In caso invece fossero gli uomini di classifica a giocarsi il successo di giornata, i nomi da fare sono bene o male quelli dei primi dieci della generale: <strong>Tadej Pogacar<\/strong> (UAE Team Emirates), che con il suo spunto veloce potrebbe regolare gli altri big, il compagno di squadra <strong>Adam Yates<\/strong>, <strong>Jonas Vingegaard<\/strong> (Jumbo-Visma), <strong>Tom Pidcock<\/strong> e <strong>Carlos Rodriguez<\/strong> (Ineos Grenadiers), <strong>Jai Hindley<\/strong> (Bora-hansgrohe) e <strong>Simon Yates<\/strong> (Team Jayco AlUla). <strong>Romain Bardet<\/strong> (Team DSM-Firmenich) e <strong>David Gaudu<\/strong> (Groupama-FDJ) sono apparsi invece un po&#8217; pi\u00f9 in difficolt\u00e0, ma il primo potrebbe sfruttare la sua abilit\u00e0 in discesa per provare a fare qualcosa, mentre il secondo ha dichiarato di voler correre in maniera pi\u00f9 offensiva durante questa settimana, anche se pi\u00f9 probabilmente attender\u00e0 le Alpi per attaccare.<\/p>\n<h3>Borsino dei Favoriti Dodicesima Tappa Tour de France 2023<\/h3>\n<p>***** Wout Van Aert<br \/>\n**** Matej Mohoric, Mattias Skjelmose<br \/>\n*** Ruben Guerreiro, Valentin Madouas, Neilson Powless<br \/>\n** Julian Alaphilippe, Matteo Jorgenson, Michal Kwiatkowski, Georg Zimmermann<br \/>\n* Tobias Halland Johannessen, Guillaume Martin, Aurelien Paret-Peintre, Dylan Teuns, Fred Wright<\/p>\n<h2>Meteo Previsto Dodicesima Tappa Tour de France 2023<\/h2>\n<p>Parzialmente nuvoloso. Temperatura prevista: minima 23\u00b0C, massima 27\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<h2>Maggiori insidie Dodicesima Tappa Tour de France 2023<\/h2>\n<p>Come nella giornata di marted\u00ec, visti i tanti saliscendi nei primi 60 chilometri, potrebbe esserci la possibilit\u00e0 di assistere a una prima parte di tappa scoppiettante, con tanti attacchi per cercare di portar via la fuga buona e un ritmo forsennato che potrebbe mettere in difficolt\u00e0 molti corridori (compreso qualche uomo di classifica che dovesse farsi trovare impreparato), che dovrebbero poi spendere energie preziose per rientrare.
