Le imprevedibili strade dei Paesi Baschi, nello specifico quelle della Cl\u00e1sica San Sebasti\u00e1n, sono infatti protagoniste anche della <strong>Vitoria-Gasteiz \u2013 San Sebasti\u00e1n<\/strong>, frazione di 208,9 chilometri che mette sul piatto ben cinque GPM, due di quarta categoria, due di terza e uno di seconda. Proprio quest&#8217;ultimo \u00e8 il celebre Alto de Jaizkibel, salita simbolo di queste zone che, piazzato a soli 16 chilometri dal traguardo, difficilmente lascer\u00e0 spazio di replica ai velocisti per un arrivo tranquillo. Scesi pi\u00f9 a valle, i corridori affronteranno il <strong>Col d&#8217;Udana<\/strong> (3\u00aa cat., 4,5 km al 5,1%) e la <strong>C\u00f4te d&#8217;Aztiria<\/strong> (4\u00aa cat., 2,7 km al 5,3%) rispettivamente ai chilometri 81,3 e 87,6, prima di scendere verso la costa atlantica e di superare un paio di strappi prima di tornare a salire verso il terzo GPM di giornata: la <strong>C\u00f4te d&#8217;Alkiza<\/strong> (3\u00aa cat., 4,2 km al 5,7%).<\/p>\n<p>A questo punto la scorsa entrer\u00e0 nel vivo, con sia i fuggitivi che gli uomini di classifica che inizieranno a scaldarsi in vista delle ultime difficolt\u00e0. Dopo quasi 35 chilometri tranquilli verr\u00e0 affrontata la facile <strong>C\u00f4te de Gurutze<\/strong> (4\u00aa cat., 2,6 km al 4,7%), preludio al celebre <strong>Alto de Jaizkibel<\/strong> (2\u00aa cat., 8,1 km al 5,3%). La salita, gi\u00e0 affrontata alla Cl\u00e1sica San Sebasti\u00e1n da buona parte del gruppo, presenta le pendenze pi\u00f9 impegnative negli ultimi quattro chilometri ed \u00e8 qui che probabilmente si decider\u00e0 l&#8217;intera tappa. I fuggitivi, se ci saranno, si scremeranno definitivamente su queste rampe, mentre gli uomini di classifica faranno il possibile per testare la gamba degli avversari diretti.<\/p>\n<p>Dallo scollinamento al traguardo mancheranno ancora sedici chilometri e mezzo, abbastanza per permettere ai corridori in avanscoperta di arrivare fino al traguardo ma non sufficienti per far rientrare i velocisti puri. Dopo una prima tappa avara di emozioni, <strong>Wout van Aert<\/strong> (Jumbo-Visma) e <strong>Mathieu van der Poel<\/strong> (Alpecin-Deceuninck) potrebbero finalmente avere modo di scontrarsi per un importante successo di tappa. Entrambi sembrano avere una buona gamba, anche se il neerlandese oggi \u00e8 arrivato lontano dai primi, quindi, se le cose dovessero mettersi per il verso giusto, aspettiamoceli davanti anche perch\u00e9 resta viva soprattutto per il belga, la possibilit\u00e0 di indossare la Maglia Gialla. Ovviamente anche <strong>Tadej Poga\u010dar<\/strong> (UAE Team Emirates) \u00e8 tra i papabili per il successo di tappa, anche se probabilmente si limiter\u00e0 a controllare la situazione, soprattutto il rivale diretto <strong>Jonas Vingegaard<\/strong> (Jumbo-Visma), non tanto per se stesso ma per il compagno<strong> Adam Yates<\/strong> che \u00e8 l&#8217;attuale leader. E chiss\u00e0 che la formazione emiratina non voglia provare a far fruttare proprio una situazione tattica di superiorit\u00e0 numerica.<\/p>\n<p>Un altro corridore in cerca di riscatto dopo una prima tappa che non gli ha dato spazio \u00e8<strong> Julian Alaphilippe<\/strong> (Soudal-QuickStep), corridore adattissimo a una tappa cos\u00ec impegnativa e che dovrebbe essere pronto alla battaglia visto il buon Delfinato disputato nelle scorse settimane. Ci si aspetta anche una buona prestazione anche da <strong>Tom Pidcock<\/strong> (INEOS Grenadiers), un altro tra i grandi corridori da classiche al via, che vorr\u00e0 riscattare la delusione odierna, e <strong>Mattias Skjelmose<\/strong> (Lidl-Trek), oggi tra i pi\u00f9 pimpanti delle seconde linee, pronto a sfruttare l&#8217;effetto sorpresa con<strong> Jai Hindley<\/strong> (BORA-hansgrohe).<\/p>\n<p>Attenzione poi a<strong> Victor Lafay<\/strong> (Cofidis), brillantissimo a Bilbao e che sicuramente non si far\u00e0 scappare l&#8217;opportunit\u00e0 di essere tra i pi\u00f9 attivi sullo Jaizkibel. Anche <strong>Simon Yates<\/strong> (Jayco-AlUla) ha tutto lo spazio per riprovarci, vista l&#8217;ottima forma fatta vedere oggi, al pari di <strong>Michael Woods<\/strong> (Israel &#8211; Premier Tech) e<strong> Thibaut Pinot<\/strong> (Groupama-FDJ), oggi pimpanti alle spalle dei migliori. \u00c8 comunque difficile predire quale potrebbe essere l&#8217;epilogo di questa tappa, con tantissimi corridori che hanno le potenzialit\u00e0 per tentare di anticipare gli avversari quali ad esempio<strong> Carlos Rodriguez<\/strong> (INEOS Grenadiers), <strong>Dylan Teuns<\/strong> (Israel-Premier Tech), <strong>Magnus Cort <\/strong>e<strong> Neilson Powless<\/strong> (EF Education-EasyPost), con soprattutto lo statunitense che ha ottime referenze su queste strade, <strong>Matej Mohoric<\/strong> (Bahrain-Victorious), che potrebbe provare a cogliere le sue opportunit\u00e0 in discesa, oppure <strong>Giulio Ciccone<\/strong> (Lidl-Trek).<\/p>\n<p>Dato che si corre nei Paesi Baschi, attenzione infine ai numerosi corridori di casa: <strong>Pello Bilbao<\/strong> (Bahrain-Victorious), vincitore in carriera di tre tappe al Giro dei Paesi Baschi, \u00e8 probabilmente il pi\u00f9 adatto a questo tracciato, ma oggi non ha brillato e non bisogna dimenticarsi anche di altri corridori importanti quali <strong>Mikel Landa<\/strong> (Bahrain-Victorious), il veloce <strong>Alex Aranburu<\/strong> (Movistar), <strong>Omar Fraile<\/strong> (INEOS Grenadiers) e soprattutto <strong>Ion Izagirre<\/strong> (Cofidis), che da queste parti si trova sempre a proprio agio e che potrebbe far fruttare il ritardo gi\u00e0 accumulato in classifica.<\/p>\n<p>Pi\u00f9 difficile, infine, vedere all&#8217;opera i velocisti, anche pi\u00f9 coriacei, come<strong> Corbin Strong<\/strong> (Israel-Premier Tech), <strong>Biniam Girmay<\/strong> (Intermarch\u00e9-Circus-Wanty), <strong>Christophe Laporte<\/strong> (Jumbo-Visma), che dovr\u00e0 lavorare per il team, o<strong> Mads Pedersen<\/strong> (Lidl-Trek), i quali probabilmente risparmieranno energie per i prossimi giorni vista la tappa a loro poco congeniale.<\/p>\n<h3>Borsino dei Favoriti Seconda Tappa Tour de France 2023<\/h3>\n<p>***** Wout Van Aert<br \/>\n**** Tadej Pogacar, Mathieu van der Poel<br \/>\n*** Julian Alaphilippe, Pello Bilbao, Tom Pidcock<br \/>\n** Mattias Skjelmose Jensen, Adam Yates, Simon Yates, Michael Woods<br \/>\n* Alex Aranburu, Biniam Girmay, Victor Lafay, Neilson Powless, Corbin Strong<\/p>\n<h2>Meteo Previsto Seconda Tappa Tour de France 2023<\/h2>\n<p>Pioggia.
