Mai come quest&#8217;anno il percorso di avvicinamento al primo GT dell&#8217;anno \u00e8 stato vario e gli scontri diretti tra i principali rivali sono stati pochi. Se <strong>Remco Evenepoel\u00a0<\/strong>(Soudal-QuickStep) ha seguito il percorso prestabilito ad inizio anno, \u00e8 stata pi\u00f9 breve la preparazione di\u00a0<strong>Primoz Roglic\u00a0<\/strong>(Jumbo-Visma) che questo inverno \u00e8 stato rallentato da un&#8217;operazione: l&#8217;unico scontro diretto tra i due \u00e8 stato la\u00a0<strong>Volta a Catalunya 2023<\/strong>, vinta dallo sloveno davanti al belga, in una corsa priva di cronometro. Entrambi comunque sono arrivati in Abruzzo con un&#8217;ottima condizione: il campione del mondo \u00e8 forte, infatti, del successo alla <strong>Liegi &#8211; Bastogne &#8211; Liegi 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Pi\u00f9 complicato, invece, il percorso di avvicinamento alla Corsa Rosa di\u00a0<strong>Geraint Thomas\u00a0<\/strong>(Ineos Grenadiers) e\u00a0<strong>Jay Vine <\/strong>(UAE Team Emirates) che hanno avuto a che fare con problemi fisici, mentre\u00a0<strong>Domenico Pozzovivo\u00a0<\/strong>(Israel-PremierTech) ha potuto iniziare la sua stagione solo a marzo dopo aver finalmente trovato un team. Pi\u00f9 regolare, invece, la stagione degli altri uomini attesi, anche se sono stati pochi gli acuti. Tra coloro che maggiormente si sono distinti,\u00a0<strong>Tao Geoghegan Hart<\/strong>, sul podio alla\u00a0<strong>Volta Valenciana<\/strong>, alla\u00a0<strong>Tirreno &#8211; Adriatico\u00a0<\/strong>e vincitore al\u00a0<strong>Tour of the Alps<\/strong>, mentre\u00a0<strong>Joa Almeida<\/strong> ha chiuso nei primi tre la Corsa dei Due Mari e la Volta a Catalunya.
