Delle tre corse questa \u00e8 sicuramente quella meno impegnativa dal punto di vista altimetrico, anche se non mancheranno occasioni per provare a fare la differenza. Lungo i 253,6 chilometri previsti saranno disseminate 33 cot\u00e9 che come sempre renderanno la corsa aperta a pi\u00f9 soluzioni e affascinante da seguire. Con la partenza ancora una volta fissata a <strong>Maastricht<\/strong>, anche l&#8217;arrivo rimane invariato rispetto alle ultime edizioni, con un ultimo strappo da affrontare prime del rettilineo di\u00a0<strong>Valkenburg<\/strong> che porter\u00e0 al traguardo.<\/p>\n<h2>Percorso Amstel Gold Race 2023<\/h2>\n<p>Il via verr\u00e0 dato dal centro di\u00a0<strong>Maastricht<\/strong>, citt\u00e0 natale di Tom Doumoulin e i corridori si dirigeranno verso il chilometro zero. Le difficolt\u00e0 altimetriche non tarderanno ad arrivare, con la prima cot\u00e8, il <strong>Maasberg<\/strong>, posta gi\u00e0 dopo 12,3 chilometri. Successivamente i corridori continueranno a salire verso Nord, fino ad arrivare nella zona di Urmond e Sittard, prima di cambiare direzione e tornare verso sud, avvicinandosi a <strong>Valkenburg. <\/strong>In questo tratto di corsa il gruppo affronter\u00e0 lo strappo di <strong>Adsteeg. <\/strong>La prima parte di percorso veramente movimentata i corridori la incontreranno, per\u00f2, solo dopo circa 49 chilometri, quando dovranno affrontare in rapida successione i muri di\u00a0<strong>Bergseweg, Korenweg\u00a0<\/strong>e\u00a0<strong>Nijswilerweg<\/strong>, seguiti poco dopo dal\u00a0<strong>Rijksweg.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A questo punto, dopo circa 75 chilometri di corsa, pu\u00f2 essere considerato concluso il primo tratto in linea. Da qui i corridori affronteranno tutta una serie di circuiti sempre pi\u00f9 ristretti, che li costringeranno a mettere pi\u00f9 volte le loro ruote sugli stessi muri. Il primo circuito in realt\u00e0 \u00e8 molto ampio e nella prima parte non \u00e8 altro che una pedalata verso il confine con il Belgio, in cui il gruppo dovr\u00e0 affrontare anche cinque cot\u00e9: <strong>Wolfsberg, Lorberg, Schweilbergerweg, Canerig<\/strong> e<strong> Drielandenpunt<\/strong>. Proprio in concomitanza di quest&#8217;ultima avverr\u00e0 l&#8217;attraversamento della frontiera, per uno sconfinamento di circa 3 chilometri che si concluder\u00e0 con la scalata del\u00a0<strong>Gemmenich<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Da qui la corsa torner\u00e0 indietro, affrontando <strong>Epenerbaan,<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Epenerheide e Gulperberg<\/strong>. A questo punto i corridori lasceranno la strada affrontata in precedenza per dirigersi in una nuova zona ricca di muri: in rapida successione, infatti, il gruppo affronter\u00e0 <strong>Plettenberg, Eyserweg, St. Remiguisstraat\u00a0<\/strong>e\u00a0<strong>Vrakelberg<\/strong>. A questo punto sar\u00e0 il momento di andare verso Valkenbrug, dopo aver scalato, per\u00f2,\u00a0<strong>Sibbergrubbe<\/strong> e, poi, per la prima volta in questa edizione, il <strong>Cauberg<\/strong>, salita che con i suoi 900 metri al 7,5% rappresenta un po&#8217; il simbolo della corsa.<\/p>\n<p>Il primo passaggio sulla linea del traguardo avverr\u00e0 a 79,2 chilometri dalla conclusione. Da qui in poi i momenti di respiro per il gruppo saranno molto pochi, tra strade strette e cot\u00e9 che si succederanno una dietro l&#8217;altra, mettendo fatica nelle gambe dei corridori e stimolando i pi\u00f9 coraggiosi ad iniziare ad andare all&#8217;attacco. I 63,2 chilometri successivi, infatti, saranno tutto un lungo giro nella campagna attorno alla citt\u00e0 sede di arrivo. Nella prima parte ci sar\u00e0 da scalare in rapida successione\u00a0<strong>Geulhemmerberg, Keederberg\u00a0<\/strong>e\u00a0<strong>Bemelerberg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Questa successione di strappi sar\u00e0 seguita da una quindicina di chilometri pi\u00f9 semplici che porteranno il gruppo ai piedi di una nuova serie di cot\u00e9 con\u00a0<strong>Loorberg, Gulperberg, Kruisberg, Eyserbosweg, Formberg\u00a0<\/strong>e\u00a0<strong>Keutenberg<\/strong>. Questo sar\u00e0 un tratto di percorso particolarmente favorevole per cercare di portare via qualche attacco, anche perch\u00e9 in molti vorranno provare ad anticipare il secondo e ultimo passaggio sul <strong>Cauberg<\/strong>, che avverr\u00e0 una decina di chilometri dopo. Dalla vetta del Cauberg alla conclusione della corsa mancheranno solo 18,6 chilometri.<\/p>\n<p>Prima, per\u00f2, ci sar\u00e0 un nuovo passaggio sulla linea del traguardo, che immetter\u00e0 i corridori ancora in lotta per la vittoria nell&#8217;ultimo circuito di 16 chilometri e che vedr\u00e0 il gruppo affrontare nuovamente <strong>Geulhemmerberg<\/strong> e\u00a0<strong>Bemelerberg<\/strong>. Questa sar\u00e0 l&#8217;ultima cot\u00e9 categorizzata, ma le difficolt\u00e0 non saranno finite. Nonostante non venga affrontato il Cauberg, infatti, i corridori dovranno percorrere una nuova salita per raggiungere il traguardo. Proprio lungo questa ascesa incontreranno il triangolo rosso dell&#8217;ultimo chilometro, prima di affrontare il lungo rettilineo finale. Una lingua di asfalto che per qualcuno potrebbe rappresentare una lunga passerella in caso di arrivo in solitaria, ma che in caso di arrivo in volata pi\u00f9 o meno ristretta sar\u00e0 molto insidiosa: con il traguardo in vista sar\u00e0 importante decidere il momento giusto per lanciare lo sprint e non farsi prendere dalla foga di voler vincere.<\/p>\n<h2>Muri Amstel Gold Race 2023<\/h2>\n<table style=\"width: 99.8975%;
