La quinta giornata della Corsa del Sole condensa tutte le difficolt\u00e0 nei primi cinquanta chilometri dei 212,5 previsti da <strong>Saint-Symphorien-sur-Coise<\/strong> a\u00a0<strong>Saint-Paul-Trois-Ch\u00e2teaux<\/strong>, proponendo un inizio di tappa che potrebbe invogliare quanti vorranno provare ad evadere dal gruppo. I corridori, infatti, cominceranno subito a salire verso la <strong>C\u00f4te de Coise<\/strong> (1,5 km al 8,6%) per un inizio di frazione che sorride decisamente a quanti vorranno organizzare un tentativo di fuga. Subito dopo la discesa, si salir\u00e0 nuovamente verso la <strong>C\u00f4te de l&#8217;Aub\u00e9pin <\/strong>(4,9 km al 5,1%), il cui scollinamento avverr\u00e0 dopo 11,6 chilometri dall&#8217;inizio di tappa. Dopo la lunga discesa i corridori affronteranno la terza asperit\u00e0 di giornata, la <strong>C\u00f4te de Tr\u00e8ves <\/strong>(2,3 km al 6%) che chiude i primi cinquanta chilometri di giornata.<\/p>\n<p>Segue un lunghissimo tratto di pianura di oltre un centinaio di chilometri al termine del quale il gruppo incontrer\u00e0 anche il traguardo volante posto sul <strong>Col du Dev\u00e8s<\/strong> al chilometro 159. L&#8217;ultima difficolt\u00e0 di giornata sar\u00e0 la non troppo impegnativa <strong>C\u00f4te d&#8217;Aleyrac<\/strong> (4,5 km al 4,3%), al termine della quale mancheranno ancora una trentina di chilometri al traguardo di <strong>Saint-Paul-Trois-Ch\u00e2teau<\/strong> che potrebbero consentire alle formazioni dei velocisti di completare la rimonta sugli eventuali fuggitivi in vista di un probabile sprint di gruppo.<\/p>\n<h2>Favoriti Quinta Tappa Parigi &#8211; Nizza 2023<\/h2>\n<p>Salvo imprevisti, i velocisti saranno i protagonisti di questo arrivo. <strong>Tim Merlier<\/strong> (Soudal &#8211; Quick-Step), vincitore della prima tappa, parte con i gradi di favoritissimo anche in questa occasione ma gli avversari sicuramente non staranno a guardare. <strong>Sam Bennett<\/strong> (BORA-hansgrohe) \u00e8 senza dubbio l&#8217;avversario dal quale si deve guardare di pi\u00f9, come successo appunto a La Verri\u00e8re. <strong>Olav Kooij<\/strong> (Jumbo-Visma) pu\u00f2 rappresentare la classica mina vagante in una eventuale volata, cos\u00ec come <strong>Mads Pedersen<\/strong> (Trek-Segafredo), <strong>Michael Matthews<\/strong> (Team Jayco AlUla) e <strong>Arnaud De Lie<\/strong> (Lotto Dsnty).<\/p>\n<p>Piuttosto nutrita \u00e8 la schiera dei delusi che sperano di rimediare quanto fatto finora. Il nome pi\u00f9 eclatante \u00e8 quello di <strong>A<\/strong><strong>rnaud D\u00e9mare<\/strong> (Groupama-FDJ), finora non troppo brillante, ma anche <strong>Bryan Coquard<\/strong> (Cofidis), <strong>Ivan Garcia Cortina<\/strong> (Movistar), <strong>Kaden Groves<\/strong> (Alpecin-Deceuninck), <strong>Magnus Cort Nielsen<\/strong> (EF Education-EasyPost), <strong>Fred Wright<\/strong> (Bahrain Victorious) e <strong>Cees Bol<\/strong> (Astana Qazaqstan Team). Anche <strong>Alexander Kristoff<\/strong> (Uno-X Pro Cycling Team) \u00e8 ancora in cerca d&#8217;autore. Ci sar\u00e0 per\u00f2 tutto il tempo per le squadre dei velocisti di recuperare sugli eventuali fuggitivi, dato il lunghissimo tratto pianeggiante che caratterizza tutta la parte centrale di tappa. Le gambe degli sprinter, tuttavia, potrebbero ulteriormente appesantirsi con l&#8217;ultima asperit\u00e0 di giornata, dalla quale, in ogni caso, mancheranno ancora una trentina di chilometri
