La ciclista della <strong>SD Worx<\/strong> trionfa allo sprint davanti alla ex compagna <strong>Charlotte Kool<\/strong> (Team DSM), che ieri la aveva battuta nella frazione inaugurale, strappandole cos\u00ec anche la maglia di leader della corsa mediorientale. Per la campionessa europea si tratta del primo successo con la nuova squadra, arrivando a quota 60 in carriera. A completare il podio di giornata \u00e8 <strong>Georgi Pfeiffer<\/strong> (Team DSM), che aveva lanciato la compagna di team, tenendosi cos\u00ec alle spalle\u00a0 <strong>Marta Lach<\/strong> (Ceratizit-WTN Pro Cycling) e <strong>Chiara Consonni<\/strong> (UAE Team ADQ). In top-10 \u00e8 da segnalare anche l&#8217;ottavo posto di <strong>Elisa Longo Borghini<\/strong> (Trek-Segafredo).<\/p>\n<h2>Il video dell&#8217;arrivo<\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eurosport.it\/ciclismo\/uae-tour-1\/2023\/lorena-wiebes-rivincita-da-campionessa-charlotte-kool-al-tappeto-rivivi-la-volata_vid1834300\/embed-video.shtml\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>Il racconto della corsa<\/h2>\n<p>Diversamente da ieri, quest&#8217;oggi il vento ha caratterizzato in maniera importante la tappa: gi\u00e0 dopo pochi chilometri, infatti, sotto l&#8217;impulso di alcune squadre si formano dei ventagli e il gruppo si spezza in tre parti. Davanti rimangono una ventina di atlete, tra cui la leader <strong>Charlotte Kool<\/strong> (Team DSM), <strong>Lorena Wiebes<\/strong> (SD Worx) e le azzurre <strong>Elisa Longo Borghini<\/strong> (Trek-Segafredo), <strong>Silvia Persico<\/strong> e <strong>Chiara Consonni<\/strong> (UAE Team ADQ). Questo drappello aumenta il margine nei chilometri successivi arrivando a toccare i due minuti di vantaggio in prossimit\u00e0 del primo sprint intermedio, che vede Longo Borghini transitare in seconda posizione e prendere cos\u00ec 2&#8243; di abbuono.<\/p>\n<p>In seguito, per\u00f2, da dietro iniziano a rimontare, mentre davanti cominciano a staccarsi alcune cicliste: a 43 chilometri dalla conclusione, appena dopo il secondo traguardo volante (dove Longo Borghini conquista un altro secondo di abbuono), avviene cos\u00ec il ricongiungimento tra i primi due tronconi. La terza parte del gruppo, nella quale viaggia anche <strong>Marta Cavalli<\/strong> (FDJ-SUEZ), impiega invece qualche chilometro in pi\u00f9 per rientrare, facilitata anche da un netto rallentamento del gruppo di testa. A 20 chilometri dall&#8217;arrivo, quindi, il plotone torna compatto, ma la situazione non rimane tale a lungo: entrati negli ultimi dieci chilometri, una nuova accelerazione crea una nuova spaccatura in gruppo, con Cavalli che rimane ancora attardata.<\/p>\n<p>Davanti rimangono invece una cinquantina di atlete, ma, a parte l&#8217;ex campionessa italiana, le cicliste che puntano alla classifica generale sono praticamente tutte davanti, cos\u00ec come buona parte delle velociste, pronte per la volata finale. A prendere in mano le operazioni negli ultimi due chilometri \u00e8 il trenino del <strong>Team DSM<\/strong>, che a 150 metri dall&#8217;arrivo lancia Kool; sulle sua ruota, per\u00f2, c&#8217;\u00e8 Wiebes, che quest&#8217;oggi riesce a scatenare tutta la sua potenza e a battere nettamente l&#8217;ex compagna di squadra, balzando anche in testa alla classifica generale.
