La velocista del <strong>Team DSM<\/strong> si \u00e8 imposta abbastanza nettamente sul traguardo di <strong>Dubai Harbor<\/strong> superando allo sprint la campionessa europea ed ex compagna di squadra <strong>Lorena Wiebes<\/strong> (Team SD Worx), che non \u00e8 riuscita a finalizzare il lavoro del proprio treno. A completare il podio di questa giornata inaugurale della prima edizione della corsa mediorientale al femminile \u00e8 l&#8217;azzurra <strong>Chiara Consonni<\/strong> (UAE Team ADQ), mentre hanno chiuso rispettivamente al quarto e al nono posto <strong>Maria Giulia Confalonieri<\/strong> (Uno-X Pro Cycling Team) e <strong>Valentina Basilico<\/strong> (BePink). Il nervosismo ha per\u00f2 causato diverse cadute durante la tappa, la prima delle quali ha portato al ritiro di <strong>Matilde Bertolini<\/strong> (BePink), mentre le ultime due hanno ridotto il gruppo che si \u00e8 presentato sul rettilineo finale in quanto avvenute rispettivamente a 3700 e 2700 metri dalla conclusione.<\/p>\n<p>In quest&#8217;ultima sono rimaste coinvolte anche <strong>Elisa Longo Borghini<\/strong> (Trek-Segafredo) e <strong>Silvia Persico<\/strong> (UAE Team ADQ), ma entrambe si sono rialzate e hanno potuto raggiungere l&#8217;arrivo con calma dato che l&#8217;incidente \u00e8 avvenuto all&#8217;interno degli ultimi tre chilometri.
