La nona tappa di questa edizione della Grande Boucle si svolger\u00e0 quasi del tutto in Svizzera, prendendo il via da <strong>Aigle <\/strong>e rientrando, solo nel finale, in Francia con l&#8217;ascesa del Pas de Morgins, il cui scollinamento si trova a poco meno di dieci chilometri dal traguardo di <strong>Ch\u00e2tel<\/strong>, anch\u2019esso in leggera salita. I 192,9 chilometri, che precederanno il secondo giorno di riposo, arrivano al termine di una settimana decisamente impegnativa, in cui tutti i corridori hanno speso molto e, anche per questo motivo, potrebbe esserci spazio per una fuga che, visto il profilo altimetrico, potrebbe avere buone possibilit\u00e0 di arrivare fino al traguardo. I primi 33 chilometri dopo la partenza da <strong>Aigle<\/strong> saranno pianeggianti, costeggiando anche il Lago Lemano (il lago di Ginevra), prima che il gruppo affronti la prima ascesa di giornata, la <strong>C\u00f4te de Bellevue<\/strong> (4,3 km al 4%). Dopo il GPM non ci sar\u00e0 una discesa ma si continuer\u00e0 leggermente a salire in falsopiano fino al traguardo volante di <strong>Semsales<\/strong>, posto dopo 56,5 chilometri.\u00a0Un tratto relativamente pianeggiante condurr\u00e0 poi il gruppo ai piedi del <strong>Col des Mosses<\/strong>, una salita di seconda categoria lunga 13,3 chilometri con una pendenza media del 4,1% che precede il <strong>Col de la Croix<\/strong> (8,1 km al 7,6%).<\/p>\n<p>La lunga discesa successiva porter\u00e0 i corridori nuovamente ad Aigle, al chilometro 153, da dove una quindicina di chilometri di pianura condurranno all&#8217;ascesa del <strong>Pas de Morgins<\/strong> (15,4 km al 6,1%). Sono i primi 11 chilometri di salita quelli pi\u00f9 impegnativi, con pendenze che arrivano fino all&#8217;8,9%, dopo di che la strada spianer\u00e0 per un paio di chilometri prima che la pendenza aumenti nuovamente al 5,1% appena prima della cima da cui, a 9,1 chilometri dal traguardo, la corsa torner\u00e0 in Francia.\u00a0I corridori scenderanno nuovamente prima degli ultimi 4 chilometri in cui la strada riprender\u00e0 nuovamente a salire in vista del traguardo di <strong>Ch\u00e2tel<\/strong>. Saranno, quindi, numerosi i corridori da tenere d&#8217;occhio, soprattutto nelle prime fasi di gara, quando si scatener\u00e0 la lotta per portare via la fuga giusta: tra i molti che ci tenteranno, solo alcuni riusciranno a mettersi nelle condizioni di provare a giocarsi il successo di tappa. Tra i corridori pi\u00f9 motivati c&#8217;\u00e8 sicuramente <strong>Lennard K\u00e4mna\u00a0<\/strong>(Bora-hansroghe): il tedesco sa come si fa a vincere attaccando da lontano ed ha dimostrato che la condizione \u00e8 ancora quella che gli ha permesso quest&#8217;anno di imporsi sull&#8217;Etna al Giro d&#8217;Italia. Dopo la beffa di ieri a La Planches des Belles Filles avr\u00e0 certamente voglia di rifarsi. Cos\u00ec come nella tappa di ieri, potrebbe dargli una mano <strong>Maximilian Schachmann\u00a0<\/strong>che potrebbe mettere a disposizione del compagno di squadra le sue doti da passista. Potrebbe essere della partita anche <strong>Patrick Konrad<\/strong>, anche se la formazione tedesca non vorr\u00e0 ovviamente correre il rischio di sguarnire la protezione del proprio capitano Aleksandr Vlasov.<\/p>\n<p>Il classe 1996 dovr\u00e0 comunque vedersela con tanti corridori forti e determinati a lasciare il segno in questa Grande Boucle. Tra i pi\u00f9 esperti c&#8217;\u00e8 <strong>Bauke Mollema\u00a0<\/strong>(Trek-Segafredo), sempre a suo agio su percorsi di questo tipo: il neerlandese anche oggi ha pensato soprattutto a risparmiare la gamba e da domani potrebbe iniziare per lui tutto un nuovo Tour. Altro corridore esperto \u00e8 <strong>Michael Woods <\/strong>(Israel-PremierTech): anche lui \u00e8 uscito di classifica proprio con l&#8217;obiettivo di andare a caccia di un successo parziale e l&#8217;arrivo di domani potrebbe esaltarne le caratteristiche. Con il canadese potrebbe muoversi pure il compagno di squadra <strong>Jakob Fuglsang<\/strong>, gi\u00e0 all&#8217;attacco l&#8217;altro giorno insieme a Wout Van Aert e Quinn Simmons, con cui potrebbe dare\u00a0vita ad una coppia molto pericolosa.<\/p>\n<p>Chi invece sperava in un posizionamento diverso in classifica generale a questo punto della corsa \u00e8\u00a0<strong>Alexey Lutsenko<\/strong> (Astana Qazaqstan). Il kazako sperava di poter migliorare il settimo posto dell&#8217;anno scorso, ma i suoi piani sono naufragati presto: se dovesse avere le gambe, quella di domani potrebbe essere una buona occasione per lanciarsi all&#8217;attacco per provare a recuperare un po&#8217; di tempo prezioso e magari lottare anche per il successo di tappa. Attende l&#8217;occasione giusta anche <strong>Thibaut Pinot\u00a0<\/strong>(Groupama-FDJ): il francese non ha mai nascosto di essere qui con l&#8217;obiettivo di lottare per le vittorie parziali e con l&#8217;arrivo della montagne sembra essere arrivato il momento di provare ad andare all&#8217;attacco. Potrebbe anche ricevere l&#8217;aiuto del proprio compagno di squadra <strong>Michael Storer<\/strong>, a sua volta particolarmente adatto per una tappa di questo tipo.\u00a0Attacco da lontano che potrebbe essere tra gli obiettivi anche di <strong>Tim Wellens\u00a0<\/strong>(Lotto Soudal) e <strong>Warren Barguil\u00a0<\/strong>(Ark\u00e8a-Samsic), che gi\u00e0 oggi ha provato un timido tentativo. Le pendenze non troppo impegnative della salite presenti nel percorso potrebbero stuzzicare l&#8217;appetito di due uomini della Bahrain Victorious particolarmente adatti alle fughe come <strong>Matej Mohori\u010d <\/strong>e <strong>Dylan Teuns<\/strong>, anch&#8217;egli gi\u00e0 in fuga ieri.<\/p>\n<p>Non mancano nel gruppo diversi corridori abituati alle fughe che potremmo trovare all&#8217;attacco fin dalle prime fasi di corsa come <strong>Pierre Latour\u00a0<\/strong>(TotalEnergies),\u00a0<strong>Ruben Guerreiro\u00a0<\/strong>(EF Education-EasyPost), <strong>Gregor M\u00fchlberger\u00a0<\/strong>(Movistar), <strong>Simon Geschke <\/strong>e<strong> Victor Lafay <\/strong>(Cofidis), <strong>Georg Zimmermann\u00a0<\/strong>(Intermarch\u00e8-WantyGobert) e\u00a0<strong>Pierre Rolland\u00a0<\/strong>(B&amp;B Hotels-KTM). Tra gli italiani, invece, prover\u00e0 a cogliere l&#8217;occasione anche <strong>Mattia Cattaneo<\/strong> (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl), all&#8217;attacco gi\u00e0 oggi, che ha ammesso di voler cercare la vittoria di una tappa da qui alla fine del Tour.<\/p>\n<p>Non \u00e8 per\u00f2 da escludere che, alla fine, come accaduto anche oggi siano proprio i big della generale a giocarsi il successo di tappa. A questo punto, la Maglia Gialla <strong>Tadej Poga\u010dar<\/strong> (UAE Team Emirates) diventerebbe il grande favorito, avendo fatto vedere in questi ultimi giorni anche un&#8217;ottima esplosivit\u00e0 nei finali. Tra i suoi rivali pi\u00f9 pericolosi c&#8217;\u00e8 sicuramente <strong>Jonas Vingegaard\u00a0<\/strong>(Jumbo-Visma), che vorr\u00e0 provare a riscattare la beffa de La Planches des Belles Filles. Attenzione anche al buono spunto di <strong>David Gaudu\u00a0<\/strong>(Groupama-FDJ).
